Its a safety system because in 2 gear his revs would be too high IT could damage the engine

This is GREAT, i can tell your not going 100% max attack on that car, you just kinda "showing off" if you will (Pushing hard but not pushing as hard as if your name and 1M$ USD was on the line). This was the perfect amount of effort to display what this car would be capable of in the hands of a casual driver, you don't have to be an expert to drive this car fast or sporty i shall say, Now at MAX ATTACK thats a different story. your in tunnel vision feeling everything as if the car was your body, and push past any doubt untill you sit there smelling of amazement. I drove the new BMW M550 the AWD M5 pretty much, and at sport speed it was safe/quick/easy and fun, but when you went full track mode and found its boundary. it became a veterans duty to control it.

ANYWAY sorry for the long read man, if you ever get a chance make a vid of you going about 85-90% of max attack in that thing, not to fast where you get in trouble but just fast enough that you have to concentrate

Thanks for your comment. This was a rental car. We reeeally did not want to crash it otherwise we would have had to pay the full price to replace the car.

so not running in car; Second day after 3000 km, 6 total laps, one very slow lap, 2 not so good; so 3 good laps by my notes; yellow flags and crashes and closed track. Yes me from Montana, USA in my new blue 718 Boxster S, 242 laps June 16 - July 23 2017, I was lots of traffic on Ring, just going in circles, 8:29 best BtG. only one set of brake pads, many cruising laps

ohhhhhh thats what it is, i for some reason thought, he stopped there to rebuild his front end and motor for the rest of his lap, but a crash makes way more sense at the green hell

Racelogic Vbox app. It can only be used with a Vbox unit - Vbox Sport mounted on the windscreen in our case. Hope that helps.

Yes, agree. We were very, very nervous. This was a rental car and we really did not want to crash it, otherwise we would've had to pay for the full price of the car. Keep in mind we also live in Australia and this was probably only our 10th lap ever on the circuit.

Ahaha, tell me. Last year I went there with my aunt's station VW and I was way slower than you guys. I was just being a jerk off whilst commenting :D By the way, do you remember the cost of renting this M3? I think it is better to rent cars with cage near the track zone. Slower ones are cheap as well. @PDriveTV

The three steering settings make absolutely no difference in performance. This was simply the setting we preferred. Sport and Sport Plus are too heavy in our opinion.

you would be surprised how many professional drivers prefer that, and comfort suspension when tracking a car, alot just want the transmission in track mode and the rest in comfort so the car has just enough body roll to use to your advantage on the big sedans. sport steering on those cars makes it a little tougher to counter steer aswell, and its a fully electronic rack, so its not like firming the wheel up is going to give you more feel of the road at all, it will just be firmer. more of a gizmo or a gadget than something completely necessary

and tbh on the the ring with how bumpy it is, i would want comfort mode to soak up the bumps and curbs personally you might get more tire contact to the pavement that way
