Aphexis even with winter tires this would happen unless it’s brand new or 1 year used winter tires. It’s because no limited slip differential (LSD)

those are all seasons tires dude... put some decent snow tires on that thing, turn the traction controll off, and then do a test-drive... and... dont't get this wrong, learn how to drive uphill in the snow... take care!

Like mentioned improper tires, also would it hurt to get some chains or some other device to put on the tires to get more traction? Even with crappy all seasons, if you had some chains, you would have been fine. You can go ahead and get an Audi you'll get stuck as well with sport tires on. While you're at it get a Ford Raptor and you'll get stuck as well with improper tires.

The newesr xdrive system is almost perfect because the Quattro engineer now works for bmw. This car can't be stuck. I've seen roller tests of these and driven one in snowy mountain conditions. Great Great car! Just needs snow tires.

Then the stupid guys says he's getting a Q7 next time.. lol there basically the same AWD system they're both as good... Xdrive and Quattro are one of the best AWD systems out there name one system that can perform better.. New X5 is even better and more than ever capable

Sorry , but quattro and xdrive are not the same , ive own both cars the Q7 and X5 and in winter conditions with good winter tires and the q7 is a bit better. And about the fact that both systems are good , yes they are ! But to be honest Toyotas land cruiser , or Jeeps system is better , not to mention subaru wich has one of the best systems out there..

I live in canada, I own a 2011 and 2018 35d and I've driven in snow deeper than the bumper and never been stuck in either of those vehicles

my 335i x drive with michelin x-ice 3's has climbed hills in worse condition. with snow/compacted snow and ice its all about tires.

I seriously don't get isn't there laws surriounding what tire you should choose in the states? It seems like it's very common on these videos showing how useless some AWD cars are in the snow, A front/rearwheel driven car with a set of studded ice and snow tires would've climbed like no tomorrow.

the only reason this car will get stuck is if you have really bad bald tires, even all season tires are fine, if you have low profile tires it wont perform well either

With good winter tyres, and just a bit driving skills nothing is problem for f15... All this video shows is your lack of both, for winter tyres go max 255/50 r19. This video is personal experience not car review

5:06 actually you can see that those are 100% summer tires. At least try it with the all season from Michelin, the CrossClimate plus or 2. Jeez. It could be any car in the world, it wouldn't make any difference. He says "not as good as quattro", well... bring the quattro with the same tires and you'll see the same results.
