I'd like to hear it without the tips. Big tips make the tone deep but they sound hollow and echo. Unfortunately that's what everyone puts on their trucks now. I'd like to hear it with straight 2.25in pipe with 90s behind the rear tires and no big tips

When I was in high school we ran square body trucks 22 years ago from ford,chevy,dodge st8 pipes glass packs open headers I had ford big 351m true duels 2inch stainless pipes cats and muffler cut my truck was loud

The raspy sound is obnoxious in my opinion. I had wondered for a while what muffler kit was making this sound as it is so high pitched compared to (say) a 1986 Camero z28 for example. I will NEVER do this to my truck. What you hear on the outside is what you get on the inside as well. I'd rather hear my stereo instead. After the novelty wears off and the lady complains, I am sure Magnaflow or Flowmaster will come to the rescue.

The high pitch is due to the absence of a crossover. It does NOT need a muffler.

Not all 5.3 sounds like 💩 dude that’s false if it sounds deep for the true duals it won’t sound 💩 but it if doesn’t sound deep then yes it will sound 💩 and I’ll give you that one so yeah
