The Chrysler 300 full-size sedan got its last major refresh back in 2015, so changes this year are minimal. New interior and exterior appearance packages give it an edgier look, and the Chrysler Uconnect infotainment system is faster, has new features to keep you connected while you’re on the go, and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Chrysler 300 is available in four trim levels with a choice of rear-wheel or all-wheel drive across the lineup.
Engine options include a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that produces 292 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque and gets 19 mpg city/30 highway; a tuned version of that V6 that puts out 300 hp and 264 lb-ft and gets the same mileage; and a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with 363 hp, 394 lb-ft, and EPA estimates of 16 mpg city/25 highway.
All those engines have enough power to motivate the two-ton 300, but none of those are strong mileage estimates. Shoppers who are looking for luxury and driving satisfaction but don’t worry about mileage should give the 300 a look. Read more on CarGurus: cargur.us/dlY2F

I work two days a week as a valet at a very upscale hotel- Subsequently, I am in and out of a lot high end vehicles (most are luxury rentals)... That being said, I am honestly surprised at the high quality of fit, finish and refinement of the 300s. It is as good as Audi and BMW, Volvo and other high end imports- Nice job Chrysler!

I have 15C awd and mileage for car size is exceptional. I can get over 30mpg on the highway in most cruising situations. I did add cold air intake but never had any complaints on mpg. Average is 21 and I'm heavy footed living the growl of the v6

Great review, Nicole! I have reviewed the 2012 Chrysler 300, and it was a pretty neat vehicle! This newer 2017 model seems to offer a much snappier UCONNECT touchscreen with more crisp and vibrant colors! 😃 The interior still looks very similar (a little long on the tooth for my taste), but it remains fairly competitive when it does come to available, and standard features! 👌 Not to mention, it's bold exterior styling and decently sized back seats. The 300 is a tough vehicle to overlook in the full-size sedan segment! Keep up the great work, Car Gurus! I cannot wait until I can review the new 2017 Chrysler 300, too! 😉 -DriveAndBeDriven 🚘 "The Quest To Record The Best!" 📽

The 300 is an American icon! I still ride in my mom's old 300, and it hasn't caused me any real problems. With that being said, I'm planning to get a new car later this year. The 300S is definitely on my list; it's a beautiful car.

zalo813 I daily drive a 16 300S V6 RWD in dark grey metallic. I love it so damn much. gas doesn't bother me, I don't floor it, I drive it like its supposed to be driven. with authority! just cruise. also, the V6 is actually fast for a giant RWD sedan. 0-60 is just as fast as my 2010 Mazdaspeed 3.

I purchased my 300 2017 and I’m so happy that I purchased the extended warranty for 1500 because now I am really using that warranty the car has had three batteries replaced on it and has to back up cameras they are replacing the air conditioning to the car the screen started melting replacing that apparently I was told by the dealership or I took it to get work done by my warranty company that Chrysler makes the street in the radio that controls your AC your radio and everything in your car that is electronics ? specific for your car I don’t know if that was true or not . My connect was calling people hanging up on people change the temperature all kinds of weird things so I had to be replaced all the side panels of the doors warped they were a place apparently I don’t know if they didn’t do a good job at the dealership here in Houston so They worked on them again and I talk to other people on the Chrysler 300 same year as mine or newer and their windows doors panels are all warped they look horrible. In Chrysler it’s not do you want anything about it it looks so cheap. I had the whole front in of my car the bushes the whole steering part replace. I am 53 years old I don’t drive like a mad woman actually my very safe driver with no tickets no accidents or anything on my record. They have replace my gas cap which was defective they have replace my shifting on my car because it was shifting on its own very dangerous. And there’s other things that they’re working on the air state air-conditioning has gone out many things I believe I purchase a lemon this car has been basically getting rebuilt again and I was so so happy I spent that money and the extended warranty and I got the most expensive extended warranty for 1500 I would like someone to tell me what in the world is going on with this car because it only has 50,000 miles or a little bit over that and yes I have been taking it to get oil changes everything that needs to be done and even more well taken care of thank you please help.

I'd avoid anything Chrysler these days. The new Fiat owned Chrysler has no customer loyalty and has a history of not standing by its product. It's a Chrysler so it will have issues. Now do you want to gamble if They will fix it under warranty?

Some of the problems with the warranty is the dealership they are the ones that don’t want to do the job correct and complete, I purchased a extend the warranty and the dealership wanted to charge me an additional $200 for checking for each item that was covered under my warranty which I thought was crazy and then they didn’t even fix the problem I , I made them aware that they have not finished the job and I also contacted the warranty company that they had not finished the job so that my warranty company would not pay them because they were trying to get paid by my warranty company and I wasn’t going to pay him either. They also put sometimes old parts or not the proper parts in your car so you have to be aware of those things even though they are a certified dealership that sold you that car . And I am telling you these are big-name dealerships they’re not those pop-up dealerships on the side of the road that you see mom and pop. My advice is always when you get work done make sure you check it even though it’s under warranty and have them show you.

The car final assembly is on Canada Ontario. The engine is build in Mack Avenue Detroit and the Transmission is ZF(european design) build by Chrysler at Kokomo Indiana. Pentastart Engine is the best in my opinion. Use cheap gas and very easy to maintain. The ZF transmission is very solid.
