Couple of things he didn't cover, the truck has Mud Lights under the mirrors, they come on when the door is open, but they can also be turned on with a switch next to the headlight switch, to assist navigating around puddles. The rear seat on the right side, the back folds down for access to the jack. There is a extra switch in the bed for the bed light. The trucks come standard equipped with a battery saver, so if you leave a light on, you won't come back to a dead battery. BTW the emergency flashers are not on the battery saver. If you are sitting in the truck, with key out of the ignition, listening to the radio, and it turns off. Just touch the volume knob, and it will come back on. Same if you open the door, and want to listen to the radio. Drivers side window is auto up and down, tap the window button to activate. The right AC Control knob, turn it counter clockwise and hold it for a second, and the AC goes into power cool, to cool the truck down quickly. The Spare is full size, but may not be the same brand as what's on the ground. Practice in your driveway on letting it down, it was a little tricky on use of the Jack handle. .A really nice Genuine Ford Accessory is the tailgate assist. Took me less than an hour to install it. It goes behind the right taillight, so it's out of the way. There is also an aftermarket, release for the left rear seat so you can stash long slim things behind that seat.

Nice review - I just got myself a used 2019 XLT with Supercab and 8ft bed and I just love it. But I didn't know about the diff lock on the 4wd system. I've owned now 4 generations of F150's and this is by far the nicest.

Awesome walkaround, I love long form walkarounds that really go in-depth, always hated walkarounds but they're like 5 minutes and barely cover anything. I currently have a 2017 Ford Escape which I love, but with me getting more into outdoors activities with my family and the constant renting of U-Hauls for powersport purchases or furniture has become annoying, so it's time to go to a truck.

Why do you have to pay extra to get plastic instead of chrome?

Most people now days don’t really use a pickup truck like a true pickup should be used, if so most people wouldn’t be purchasing a 5.5 ft bed, once you install a headache rack and tool box like a real work truck would usually have you are left with 2-3ft of bed which is useless. I really wish ford offered more 6.5 ft beds in the crew cab configuration sitting on the lot ready for purchase. 6.5 is extremely difficult to find.

Excellent video, my 2017 XLT 302a did something strange. I was driving home on hwy 401 towing 1500lbs cargo. Suddenly the sync 3 screen went light grey. All features worked. Prior to this we smelled plastic burning thinking it was the outside environment. When I got home I shut off the truck and restarted, sync 3 worked normal. It's been a week no issues. Any comments or ideas what happened?

I have a 2017 but it don't have the nav is there anyway to updated it so it dose or u have to have the sync 3 to have it?
