I bought a new Harley Street Glide, but I've always really liked the Wings. My wife doesn't like to ride with me any more, so that influenced my decision as well. The SGS has what I need in a solo tourer. Probably could've bought a Wing for what I paid for my SGS. But alas, I'm in my sixties now and wanted something I could handle a little easier as I transition into my old age.

Beautiful bike. I mean the Goldwing all around. I own a 2008 and I love it. I would have bought a 2012 when I bought mine used had they still been made in the US. Sad to see them move overseas.

No NAV that's a bit wrenching love the bike was about to get one til I found out no NAV ( Australia so Honda tell me, then I had a look at one and yeah no nav on it )....2017 FLHTK won for me based on NAV.. I still hope to own a GL1800 some day Great Video thought the zoom ins were awesome and you even opened the back and the paniers to show off the storage great well done !!

+HenryHonda Nice color choice! It's hard to beat Honda's candy paint, so B-E-A-UTIFUL when the sun hits it to where you can really see the candy in the paint. Lol yeah once you put a few miles on them it's difficult to get them as spotless as there are when they've got 0 miles on the clock. They do come in pretty nasty though at times after traveling halfway around the world and especially when you pair that up with the cosmoline gunk that they are soaked in before leaving the manufacturing plant.

No Thanks I will keep my 2002 Illusion red. Do not like the two tone at all. Honda went from boxy to a nice rounded look then back to boxy. I want to paint the black part of my side covers illusion red to match. Any ideas on how to do this?

+Stephen Smith lol nah, seat belts on a motorcycle = dangerous ;) MSRP on the 2017 Gold Wing models start at $24,000 and go up from there depending on if you get the base model, ABS, Navigation etc. Thanks for checking out the video and for posting up too!

+M ZUNAIR TARIQ You can ride it in the rain and actually stay completely dry as long as you stay moving. Blew my mind the first time I got stuck out in the rain on a Gold Wing haha.

+Innocent Nadaf Hopefully you're about to get your hands on one soon bud. Riding one really makes you appreciate the engineering that went into the Wing to make it what it is today even though they haven't changed them now for 16 years. This Goldwing does not even have a power windscreen. do yourself a favour, keep the Roadmaster or if you are in a spending mood, pick up a new 2017 Roadmaster, love how the look

Loved my 2004 Flare Red goldwing. Right up until I rode a 2015 BMW K1649GTLE. Way more comfortable and tons more technologically advanced. From the integrated brakes to the movable windscreen to the changeable suspension on the fly with a flip of the thumb thru it's onboard computer. If you're going to buy a bike that is made from another country it might as well be German engineering.

Live that RED. Don’t believe them about the seat. It will ruin your tail. Great lean angle, very good mileage. Dependable as a boulder.

Po po po, comment c'est génial. Ps ur que j'attende la 60 taine pour m'y mettre ^.^ entre une comme ça et une Harley, c'est sur que la marque de Milwaukee à le "mythe", mais ces derniers temps, y a un peu trop de n'importe qui qui chevauchent US (il y aurait Indian aussi, mais c'est encore moins donné que Harley) et au final, techniquement, Honda n'a rien à envier aux autres. Le mythe, c'est surtout dans la tête !

Boring......... I have a 1985 (Limited) I wouldn't trade for it. Uses too much gas for a motorcycle. Beef up the 4 cylinder and get some gas mileage! Honda had it all but somehow in the V twin craze lost it. I would like to see a "lite" version with the 1200, 4 cylinder and not so heavy.
