Was there a reason you didn't just use the new supplied chip? Even if it works I would have thought the customer wouldn't have wanted that beat up chip on there for fear of failure in the future. Interesting video either way.

maybe something with TPM security, if you alter Bios image, or any new bios chip .. it will trigger the AIK

Hello, that was amazing. I noticed : less than 20 seconds in 2 passes of hot air, but the solder did melt. You may be using very hot air, is not oit about 440°c or so ? I am not at all pro, just hobby, but I like what I see and hear in your videos ;) BTW you use no real binocular, (so no 3D? )the camera is enough ? is it an usb3 camera ? Regards - if time permit ...

I have a 2019 IMac 27” that has a firmware lock! Ordered a preloaded chip off EBay, but My soldering skills are TRASH! In the process, put to much heat on the initial chip and it’s soldered in place! Can you help?????????

How much does something like this usually cost ? I bought a 21 inch iMac that wasn’t locked until I went online with it and then was remotely locked . I contacted the former original owner who hasn’t seen it in almost two years and he seems disinterested and not willing to unlock for me .

you could of ran the save file through the strings program on a linux machine to expose all the readable ascii strings exposing the password in plain text.

How did you find password coloums on hexeditor that you erase it was the most critical part of this video but i did not understand how you find the right column in bios program please give us more info about it.

لقد قال انه يسحب الملفات من حواسيب شغالة وفي بعض الحالات يقوم بسحب الملف من الرقاقة في حد ذاتها وتعديله واسم الجهاز هو TL866II Plus EEPROM Programmer يمكنك شرائه من علي اكسبرس
