Looks like an Audi on rear ,but overall looks good,and because they listen to customers and still offer manual transmission in a world crazy to go fast with dual clutch ,and abandoning it,I really wish them success and all the best.

This car may turn out to be an awesome underdog. I like how Emme's enthusiasm always rubs off on whomever she is talking to. Filipovic wouldn't turn down a second date. Now use that to get jag to hook you up with the F-Pace.

Its close to $60,000 to "Top it out", which is the sport version. Comes with a 3 liter V6 engine, 340 HP, and AWD! Basically a F-Type engine on a sedan lol

I'm looking to buy one of these, it's really upsetting that the manual is only available with the diesel engines. I'm finding it really hard to choose between a manual diesel and an auto petrol.

Vic K I see, you're somebody who judges cars by brands aye? Don't be an idiot, Audi doesn't make the best interiors but some of them are stunning like the TT, the S6/S7, the S8, and the new Q7. To trash a whole brand as opposed to saying which cars have bad interiors is petty. Just throwing that out there. BMW isn't my favorite brand but I won't bash all of their cars.

I disagree. I love the leather on the dash. They could have slapped some obvious wood there to show a "nice" interior", but I think once people sit in it they'll like the leather dash and the quality materials. At least that's my experience in an XF. I'll be seeing it at the next auto show

***** I'm a sucker for leather dashes but it has to have a good design. Leather isn't a necessity for a beautiful quality looking dashboard. Case and point, Audi A6/A7. Their dashboards have nicely fitted veneer on them but the rest is hard, albeit fine, plastic. I don't have a problem with that because it all looks nice and nothing screams cheap. Would I like leather in it's place? Yes. Is it a deal breaker not to have leather though? Absolutely not. Does leather make a simple lazy design look better? Absolutely not.

***** Thanks Emme for pointing out the sunroof. In future videos can you be more specific asking questions about the tilt and open features, also sun shade features of the roof. For example the Audi A5's sunroof only tilts, it doesnt open, lame. I'm and auto enthusiast and looking to purchase a personal vehicle 2016 and like you, I love a panoramic roof or a sunroof, but not many auto reviewers or manufactures shine a light on sunroof options/ features. I think an option for a sunroof, or panoramic roof is fundamentally important for vehicles because it changes the whole atmosphere of the cabin. Thanks again!

Great, now you finaly get an iPad 2 in a jag and all the features of a skoda at a double pricepoint. Still waiting for ACC or some active lane assist stearing. so .... Let´s wait till 2018. (Meridian, still with no EQ or automatic loudness when driving fast?)

I'm not as down on the interior as I initially was. Yea there's not a slab of wood on it, we tend to expect some over done display of luxury. But I appreciate the abundance of leather on the dashboard instead of plastic. People say the XF interior is outdated too. Aside from the touch screen I couldn't disagree more. The suede headlining and the full leather dash with a touch of wood and the rotating vents is still better than most in its class imo. People are just too used to the typical luxury brands

Congrats. It's a very nice car. I own a 2013 Ford Fusion and this is by far the only car that comes close to matching the Fusion's style. Now in terms of power, no comparison.

Sounds all good. But where is the innovation? Different driving modes, 8-Speed Auto, aluminum touches on the interior... the competition has been doing that for years. If you want to be a benchmark you have to come up with something fresh.

Not for where we live in France, at 300 metres the roads become icy in winter black ice etc and going skiing is not so good with RWD, if fact my older Jaguar has AWD and goes straight through no chains, FWD are better for us as the engine weight is over the drive wheels, (we also have an RX8 Mazda which will not grip in the snow) and stays at home. I used to be a big RWD fan but I have seen the light :-)

Jack Frost that's where you're wrong, XER with the 490 horsepower V8 from the F-Type V8 S Convertible has been confirmed, in addition to XE SVO with the 550 horsepower V8 from the F-Type R Coupe also confirmed.

The Tesla fights in a whole other weight ($$$$) class and with a savings of over $60K I'd be all over this XE (though the Tesla is a Great car from everything I've read and seen). To each his/her own.
