2017 Lexus LX 570 x 24" Vossen Forged S17-01 Wheels

We got some freak snow twice in Atlanta and I decided to do a short clip on this parking deck. Note these are performance Nitto 420S tires. The wheels are Vossen Forged S17-01 in 24x10 sizes in Satin Black. The LX comes with 20" wheels with a 21" option so this is much larger. Overall I'm still pretty shocked at how amazing this big SUV rides on a 24" wheel/tire package. Handling is better with the wider footprint.
Overall I am loving the 2017 LX 570, it is as good as a family vehicle as it gets!

So that's great car and these black wheels looks so good with that color. Is it a stock LX color or you repaint it? Cause it looks like a some matte.

Thanks, do you think 26 inch rims with 295 30 26 tires will work? I just bout an LX and dont like the wheel and fender gap. Does the 305 rub any?

I really like the way the 24's look on the Lx but I'm concerned about the ride quality, am I better off getting 22 wheels instead?

Honestly on the 24s the ride is fantastic. Shocked me. I’ve done over a dozen road trips too. No complaints at all. Obviously you lose much of the off-road ability. A lot of credit to the Nitto tires.

@@MikeForsythe The most off-road thing I've done with the Lx is driving on the grass, lol. I'm looking into the 305 35 24s Nitto terra wrapplers AT tires, any feedback on those tires will be appreciated

Me too lol.. just light grass or snow etc... Grapplers are fantastic but more off road then the 420S; the 420v in 24” sizes should be here shortly from Nitto

Better to me. A wider tire patch made the LX feel more planted and less soft.

@@MikeForsythe I roll with the 2017 Lexus LX 570, I wouldn't trade her for nothing, I just like the power coming out of the V8. Toyota should have kept the 5.7 liter I force V8 , and just come out with a 10 speed transmission, that way slightly better mileage, perhaps comparable to the 2023 Lexus LX 600, Tundras, and Sequoias.

If Toyota / Lexus went with a 10 speed transmission, there wouldn't be a need to add a twin turbo fan...IDK, just my take on it.

Hi the S17-01 in 24” starts at $2200 a wheel. There is HF-2 hybrid forged version which starts at a cheaper price and looks similar. Email me at mike@vossenwheels.com

@@SweetMooch rode fine and better to me. 35 series means still a relatively thick sidewall. I put 24s on my LX 600 now.. It’s a big suv so the wider tires and footprint make it feel more planted.

@@MikeForsythe last question. Did the 35s rub at all do you think you could use a 40 or 45 to get a little more meat. I'm in Boston and some of these roads aren't great

I never mod my cars to rub. A 40 would be fine just harder to find that size.
