@@todd8781 Really, we really did, March 2018. Sold in April this year, and the guy that got it from us posted it on FB. So I sent him this video yesterday, and decided to add my comment. You can ask the dealer who they sold it to, and they will say a buyer in Seattle.

A 2017 base Conti with no options (new MSRP mid-40s) and 74000 miles would be about $23,000. A 2017 black label, 3.0, AWD, rear-seat package, Revel Ultima with 74000 miles (new MSRP about 80k) would be about $34,000. I studied these cars and values for a long time before I bought a fully-loaded black label AWD 3.0 with 52,000 mi for 36,500. The Continental is supposed to be a luxury car, but I do not consider the base, Livery, or Select versions luxury cars. Spring at least for the Reserve with the 30-way Perfect Position seats, Revel Ultima, and at least the 2.7 Turbo. (AWD depending on region). A 2.7 T, FWD, Revel Ultima, 30-way seat car with 74,000 mi would be about $27,000. $28,000 with giant moonroof. $29,000 with moonroof and AWD. $30,000 with moonroof, AWD, rear-seat package, and $32,000 with moonroof, rear seat package, revel ultima, seat massagers, 3.0 engine, awd, and fancy-ass LED headlights. Top-spec Black Label with 74,000 would be about $34,000. But with the Black Label you are really just buying a fully-loaded Reserve with an alcantara headliner, an interior "theme" (fancier shit), and the softest, silkiest leather this side of an S-class. You'll feel rich.

No, it's a Twin-Turbocharged V6, similar in size to the Ford F-150, plenty of power for a luxury sedan. 400HP 400 LB-FT Torque

Tcars frame is made out of aluminum. Superfast and light.

The lack of V8 isn't the issue (v-6 engines can make 600 hp with twin-turbo). The real issue inhibiting the sportiness of the Continental are (1) its FWD biased and has the proportions/weight distribution of a FWD car; (2) it has a terrible, slow, lazy, 6-speed auto; (3) its HEAVY!; and (4) the steering is as light and as lacking-in-feedback as a 10 year old Corolla. I mean the car will feel downright sporty compared to the Denalis, Laramies, Lariats, etc. that count as luxury cars these days. But to have any semblance of sportiness you need to keep the car in "S". Otherwise the Continental is a floaty land-yacht with terrible handling. It is no Cadi V-series. (i've had an ATS-V), Chevy SS, or any other real, modern, sports sedan. The Continental doesn't like twisties. It is a straight-line fast cruiser. It is a Lexus, not a BMW. Wonderful car. Relatively quick in a straight-line (I wouldn't even comment if I didn't own a 3.0 TT AWD), quiet, beautiful inside. It'll make you feel rich. But it isn't sporty. It's terrible on gas. It should've had at least an 8 speed transmission. A 6-speed on an 80k luxury car in 2016/17 is ridiculous. Hell, my 2014 Ram 1500 had an 8-speed. Still love the car. Sad that the driver's seat outer bolster cord is showing through. Sad that the thoroughbred leather dash trim pad is curling on the edge. (Interiors of luxury cars fall apart faster than others I have realized). But damn if I don't feel like an old, wealthy, ranch-owner when I drive it. Since the Continental only excels as a luxury car but makes a terrible sports car, make sure to buy a luxury trim (reserve or black label). 3.0 AWD. Keep it only in "S"; don't waste your time in D. "D" will make if feel like a 20 year old Town Car. "S" will make it feel like a 15 year old Infiniti M45x.
