I never thought i would buy an astra. I went from a hot BMW to this and I do not miss the Bimmer one bit. The 1.6 turbo petrol ticks almost every box. It is fun, fast, refined and dripping in tech. And having driven a very fast Beemer for so many years i gotta say i also enjoy the fact that i am now basicslly invisible on the road. Drivers respond to me differently now. But the car despite being almost totally unassuming still kicks it when it needs to and is a lovely place to sit, way above that of many other brands when you factor in how fun it is to drive

That average fuel consumption over 50,000km+ is insane... I'd expect that on a run but to average that for that distance is really impressive

That has to be vastly predominant on the open road with the minimum of the city and highway routes.

Good job Joe. The infiniti qx55 has a very similar interior to this version of the Astra, but the qx is way outdated for a 2022 car that costs $60,000

Them 1.6 diesels go like mad, pull a train and so so light on juice. We had a 1.6 110hp for 8 years. Averaged 5.0l all day long combined driving. When we went to change we bought a new Focus 1.5 120hp. On paper they are more or less identical acceleration, but there is absolutely no comparison, the focus needs to be worked hard; always needing to be in the right gear/torque band and will only average 5.7l.

Potwierdzam że rozrząd w 1.6CDTI to porażka. Dotyczyło to również Insigni, Merivy 1.6 CDTI ta sama jednostka. Opel nigdy nie miał własnej produkcji diesli. Zawsze diesle były zapożyczone jak nie od Isuzu to od Fiata. Tylko te pożyczone diesle akurat były OK. Opel miał za to kilka dobrych benzyniakow. W moim egzemplarzu Opel Astra K 2018 r 1.6 CDTI pierwsza naprawa i wymiana kompletu rozrządu w ASO (6.5 tys zł) przy przebiegu zaledwie 70.000 km. Po naprawie przejechane 25.000 km i temat powrócił. Świeży gęsty olej pomaga na kilka tygodni. Ogólnie najgorszy chyba silnik jaki kiedykolwiek miałem. Jeden jedyny plus to spalanie (4L trasa przy prędkości 110-120km/h). Ogólnie bardzo ale to bardzo odradzam ten silnik bo jak powiedział mój kolega z serwisu Opla na 10 egzemplarzy 10 ma ten właśnie problem (napęd rozrządu). Sam samochód wewnątrz i zewnątrz sympatyczny ale cóż...

most of those car i heard and from my experience,make a loud rattling sound from the timing chain unfortunately.. I drove the 136hp version many times and i have to admire that it has very decent pull and very good fuel consumption around 5 l/100 km. The major problem with this engine is the timing chain,which has to be replaced in some time and as a mechanic told me ,it costs a lot of money to replace it,because it's difficulty to reach it and change it.

I have this car, hatchback version, and I hate it! I have incredible problems with the DPF system. With every electronic reprogramming (only with OPEL assistance) I have a new problem. In this time it does a regeneration every 90 km! I will throw it!

if as you said your dpf regenerates every 90 km, then you have to remove it from the car and send it to a profecional workshop with dpf cleaning machine,to completely clean any shoot has built in ,and then you won't have any problems. Do it before your dpf is completely clogged. Does your car puts you in safe mode when you accelerate hard?

Non dovevi fare l'aggiornamento. Andare dal tuo meccanico, basta che usi ricambi opel originali, o di altre marche premium, in modo da non perdere la garanzia, sempre se tu l'abbia ancora.

Był to dla mnie bardzo mocny kandydat do zakupu ze 2 lata temu - ale odpadł ze względu na słabszą dostępnośc części i ewentualne problemy z łańcuchem rozrządu.

@@pawek9143 To tak, chociaż mnóstwo piszą o łańcuchu, spotkałem taką astrę na OtoMoto z przebiegiem grubo ponad 300 tys km i sprawna... Ja jeżdżę autem kompaktowym z 2.0 HDI i jest rewelacja, ale ta astra spala jednak mniej według testu na trasie.

130hp 1.7cdti is not that bad, it doesnt pull from such low revs like 1.6 but from 2000rpm you feel bigger kick but turbo hole occur sooner.

Jako byly wlasciciel astry k- serdecznie jej nie polecam. Notorycznie padajacy wyswietlacz multimediów, pekajace tłoki w silnikach benzynowych problemy z rozrządem w dieslach chaczący manual i padajacy wysprzeglik( sprzegło w podłodze) skrzypiaca deska parujace czujniki w obudowie za lusterkiem(zle przyklejona obudowa do szyby) Migajace inteliluxy(8k za jeden nowy- bez sterownika i programowania) raz opel- nigdy wiecej opla.

Wolę Astrę J (ale tylko benzyna), również ze względu na lepszy układ kierowniczy. Inaczej Astra K diesel jest OK (pomijając problematyczny rozrząd), ale chyba nie ma róży bez kolców.

@@danieldaniel733 Golf razem z Foką to najlepiej prowadzące się kompakty. Ogólnie Golfa 5 należy porównywać z Astrą H bo były produkowane w tym samym czasie i tutaj Astra leży i kwiczy. Nie wspominając o plastikach w środku które bardziej pasują do Dacii niż do jakiegokolwiek auta z Niemiec.

Ja bym kupował tylko automat i to nie chodzi konkretnie o to że ten manual może być awaryjny. Po prostu komfort podróżowania nie ten.. Tylko trzeba dobrze sprawdzić auto przy zakupie i czy automat nie "uderza" podczas redukcji biegów - niestety takie auto na jeździe próbnej mi się trafiło. Generalnie to zamiast Astry wolałbym np. Forda (bo ZNACZNIE lepiej się prowadzi) ale Astra jest bardziej przestronna jeśli ktoś myśli pod tym kątem.

@@dpfinfo z tym automatem AF40 w astrze tez różnie jest, przynajmniej w J taki był. Kupiłem z przebiegiem 45tys, pełna historia. Wszystko było super idealnie, biegi zmieniał ze nawet nie wiedziałeś. Ale później się okazało, że w czasie ruszania, całkowicie losowo potrafi dowalić tak, że mój kumpel myślał, że ktoś nam w d... wjechał (cos tam sie blokowalo losowo w sprzęgle) . To jest rzadka sprawa, ale się zdarza, najgorsze że występuje losowo, możesz jeździć 2h i nic, a tu nagle przy ruszaniu takie coś.
