Múa Lân lion dance parade with opening performance during 2017 year of Fire Rooster for Lunar New Year event. Includes full parade route at Foxwoods Casino outside of Boston Chinatown similar to parade for year of Pig and Rat & coming of Tiger in those years. The Chinese art of lion dance or Múa Lân was performed by Boston Chinese Freemasons from Chinatown. The venue is located about two hours outside of Chinatown Boston area. Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year or Tết Nguyên đán Trung Quốc are also celebrated in Asian countries such as China, Hong Kong & Vietnam and Taiwan regions. In upcoming years after this one - includes Pig and 2020 for year of Rat plus 2022 for year of Tiger or con hổ as other animals in the cycle. After the year of the Tiger 老虎 or harimau is the year of the Rabbit in 2023 and year of the dragon for 2024 according to lunar new year standard cycle. Boston Freemasons also performs something called Midnight Madness during eve of Chinese New Year at night. As shown in thumbnail, there is a beautiful Chinese lion with purple and green colors for Múa Lân lion dance costume design. Event on January 29, 2017
