I was there at that convention, and I started crying. I want that. I want a dad who cares about me the way Jensen cares for his kids. Jensen would never hurt them, and I don't even know if my father even loved me. My father sexually abused me when I was four years old and went to jail for it. Now I'm thirteen, with depression and anxiety so bad that I'm back in therapy/counseling and my counselor says that a lot of what I'm going through is because of his actions and absence. I'm sorry, I'm such as downer.

Meg Redwine you're not a downer at all. You're inspiring. So many adults can't even talk about their abuse, and you're able to share it online with thousands of people. Getting the therapy and support you need will make it possible for you to have a normal life, even if it doesn't feel that way now. I know lots of people who've been through that, and I've experienced abuse as an adult, and we are ok. You will be too. These guys are great examples of real men who are good to their families and are responsible and kind people. Those are the people you need to make sure you surround yourself with. I'm proud of you for sharing, and just don't let others bring you down!

I'm not angry at Jensen's words caused my little breakdown, instead I'm grateful. When the panel was over my friends hurried me to the bathroom, which was the most secluded place we could find on short notice. As I was bawling my eyes out and cutting off the circulation in my friend's hand, a woman got out of line for the stalls, and came over to us. She talked to me for a bit, without trying to talk down my experience or pain, and once she got the story of what was going on she went to go get one of the counselors from the I'm Alive booth. The reason I'm thankful for all that happening, is because otherwise I wouldn't be as close to the Supernatural Family, they wouldn't be as important to me.

Meg Redwine well now that we're sharing, I know how you feel...well a portion of it, u had it worse, but when I was really little, my best guess is 7, I'm 16 now, my father was VERY abusive to not only to my mom but to us all. We never got sexually abused or anything like that -though I don't know about my mom. He always thought that she was cheating on him whenever she asked to go to school. He was very anti-feminist, I guess it was his natural nature since back in Africa morals are different. When my Dad would come at us for trying to tell him that she didn't bring any boys over or didn't talk to anyone or go anywhere he would beat the sh*t out of us just to hear what he wanted to hear. My mom would come in as a shield for us, taking the whips and punches and kicks for herself. There was one day, I can remember, my little brother and I had come from school and my mom was there. I looked at her face and it was all covered in blood. Like think back to when Dean was trying to get the Angel tablet and Cas was beating up Dean under Naomi's influence. How Dean looked like was how she looked like but I think a little worse. He went to Jail, as I can remember, the very least 3 times and came back and beat up my mom and us for trying to put his life though "hell". I still have little whip scars on my back, arm, chest. But it doesn't faze me as much as it should. I already know J2 will be great dads and yeah I sometimes wish I had it different, but I know I can say that my mom makes up for that. And the SPN family really do help me though everything -even though I've never met y'all or even gone to a Con before (too broke) lol.🤷🏾‍♀️🙈

Haha, I guess it's true that there's sth personal about the fans' videos. I like capturing them on camera... there's sth satisfying about it, though very tiring as well lol. Anyway Im glad you guys enjoy them.
