Got my seat yesterday and took it on a 5 hour ride today. It is so much better! Makes the bike enjoyable, and I appreciate the bit of extra legroom too. I am 5'11" and fits me very nicely.

It's a beautiful saddle. Just bought an '18 SV and definitely want to upgrade the seat. Am debating about trying to customize the OE seat or buy this. I had a Corbin previously and my one concern is the weight. Previous Corbin was much heavier than stock due to the very strong, but heavy pan. The pans are bulletproof and fit great as you point out. I just hate adding weight. Can I ask about the difference between stock and your seat? I'm 6' and 230 lbs. So figure I'll need suspension upgrades already. Hence my concern with weight. Cheers!

I know Suzuki made the stock seat "a board" because they wanted to keep the reach to the ground accessible for shorter riders. In that same spirit, this much better Corbin seat looks like it's done about the same thing. Honestly with my 34" inseam, I would like an extra 1" or more added to the seating surface with the same general contour. Is that possible to do?

I've emailed the California factory earlier asking their opinion on how your leather seats would hold up to the New Zealand Weather, with it being sometimes like 4 seasons in 1 day here, who better to ask than the creator of the seat Himself. How different in detailing would a complete vinyl one be to the one shown on the Corbin website and would it be less comfortable than a broken in leather saddle? Recieved my new Corbin seat for my 2017 Sv650 today, the back most hook thing isnt long enough to clip in. Ridiculous after 14 weeks waiting.

As the new owner of a 2018 SV-650.....let me be clear.....the stock seat is terrible. No padding, no push back support. This looks like the perfect investment for your bike. Steer away from anything but Corbin or this nice Holeshot custom Corbin.
