Kromeification The difference is LED vs HID bulbs.

Kromeification LED is consistent in color (HID changes color, usually green first then changes to the actual color) LED also turns on quicker and more energy efficient

Yeah, I just got a 2017 BRZ and the window sticker said they are LED High and Low Beam Headlights. That's awesome! I thought the actual projector headlights were HID this whole time, not LED. I love how bright the headlights are on this thing.

Horizontally opposed 4 stroke engines have the lowest harmonic oscillations on the crankshaft (vibrations). Porsche, Volkswagen and airplane engines use them.

It's not 205 hp because that only comes on the manuel version and the engine would be red. automatic is 200hp

The version you're looking at still only has 200 HP the extra 5 HP only comes on the manual not the automatic. The manual comes with a new red aluminum intake manifold and has the increased 205 HP.

I was looking at the FR-S, now that they don't make them anymore I figured I would check out the 86. The Subaru BRZ has more toys and leather seats, the only downfall is service locations. This has always been an issue for Subaru, although since I change my own oil I guess it really doesn't matter. The BRZ does list a bit higher however when you figure in the extra electronics and leather seats, it's not like your just paying more for the same car.

Jacob Evans I'm a master certified diesel technician, I perform my own maintenance and repairs. The only issue would be for recalls, although Subaru hasn't had those sort of issues as compared to other makes. Toyota had to put new leaf springs in my Tacoma and a few years back they replaced the center link in my 88 pick up. I actually don't like other people working on my vehicles, I prefer to do it myself.

Just be sure to keep the oil changed, as well as air filter, and other basic maintenance, and really the only thing you have to worry about is the spark plugs every 60,000 miles or so. The passenger side tail lights on these cars seems to get condensation, the front bumper sags on a lot of these cars. The stock shift knob is garbage. Other than that its a great car.

You would be absolutely correct on that one. The autos have the older engines used in the previous Scion FR-S. While the manual has a brand new engine that will dish out the 205hp.

There is no relation. The Toyota 86 is relation with the Subaru BRZ. The Lexus RC shares it's relations with the Lexus GS, IS, & (last gen) IS-C.

Subaru and toyota made this car, the only Subaru part of this car is the engine, the engine is an FA20 which is equipped in new Subaru wrxs minus the turbo

Watch the video on the subaru. The brz has a premium version with better tech and interior and some other stuff. Mechanically they are pretty much the same. I Have heard that the brz suspension is tuned slightly different.

The FR-S, GT86, and BRZ are built entirely from Subaru parts. They are assembled at a Subaru factory in Japan. If you have one, open the hood, and then look under the car. Everything has a Subaru emblem. The only Toyota emblem is found on the piece of plastic on the engine. Take a look at the interior, if you look closely, a lot of the inside uses STI parts, like the pedals, the shift boot and knob, etc. etc. etc.........

wrong the FRS was the 86 all a long and every place else in the world.. But branded as a scion. It's the reason the FRS had the 86 piston on the front fender. Learn your car history.
