I've always enjoyed electric football. In 1970, as a child of 10, I had the LA Rams and Dallas Cowboys, this featured the Fearsome Foursome vs. Don Meredith and Bob Hayes. Beautifully hand-painted figures. Thank you and God bless you.

I remember this game , it was in early 70's I was about 8 or ten years young . My late parents bought me this for Christmas , i only wish to learn the fundamentals. It's sad can't find them at any retail stores , that's when Madden came around the 80's . I didn't know they had a tournament for this , thank you for sharing this.

I received my first electric football for Christmas when I was in Jr. High back in the early 80's. Man I loved that game! My friends and I played it all the time. Glad to see the game is still alive today.

My older cousin got me into this back in the mid 80's and every since then I was getting a new one at least every other year if not every year on Christmas, I miss this along with the electric race tracks and will be getting another one soon!

Damn, I got Electric Football when I was a kid, was so excited about it, and could never get anyone to play it with me even though I lived in the city (and my uncles supposedly played it when they were kids). Everyone thought it was just ridiculous, so I'm pleasantly surprised to see people playing it for real. True story: I also had Fantasy Football back when it was a box game in the dial-up Internet days and couldn't find anyone to play that with me either, lol. Now everyone and their mother literally plays it, I guess because it hardly involves any effort, and I haven't played anything online like that except Fantasy Baseball. Edit: Even though I think the ref "narrator" guy trying to talk up the game for real is comical, I love his history (pre-merger?) stuff.

I got my Tudor Electric Football set for Christmas in 1973 when I was 9 years old. Teams were Cowboys and Dolphins. Bob Hates and Calvin Hill were my favorite players. Got two friends hooked on the game and we all played against each other all through grade school and Junior High. Rams-Redskins and Raiders were their best teams. Best game of my childhood!! One of my friends even built a wood stadium around his set. Thanks for the memories!

I went from this to Madden, 35 yrs ago and still playin Madden 20! this is all we had back in the day then came tecmo bowl!!!

This is the game that I saw under my parents bed and on xmas was from Santa and I still have it. When it got close we'd tap our finger lightly on the field so you could pinpoint the tackles. My players have dials on the base so you could have a wr run a curl pattern.

Watching this is somehow more confusing than being thrown into a graduate Mandarin class.

First of all, it is generally considered by NFL historians that the NFL should have taken the Buffalo Bills instead of the Baltimore Colts as the third team from the a a a f c the bills ownership had far more money and the attendance at Buffalo Bills games was second only to the Browns in the history of the aafc. the Colts had attendance problems and severe money problems going all the way back to their beginning as the Miami Seahawks in 1946. It was obvious that the Bills should have been the third team, but the Colts somehow won out. So in 1950, A team named the Baltimore Colts did in fact join the NFL complete with quarterback y a tittle. But they sucked... And only lasted one year. The team we now knows the Colt started as the Boston Yanks in the 40s. Their owner move them to New York City at the first opportunity, naming the team the New York Yanks. they couldn't compete with the football Giants however, and in 1952 the Yanks were moved to Dallas Texas where they became the Dallas Texans. The franchise died in Dallas too, as it was taken over by the league four games into the 1952 season, moved to Hershey Pennsylvania, and made a road team for the rest of the year. The Dallas Texans only won one game, upsetting the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving Day in Akron Ohio. after the season, Caroll Rosenbloom bought the franchise from the NFL, moved it to Baltimore named the team the Colts. That is where the modern-day Colts came from.
