I just LOVE how much Dean believes in the product - he knows everything about this van, inside and out! AND he's got a great sense of humor! They have unitize the space so greatly, that it has helped me come up with a tiny house design. This is by far the best and most luxury looking RV on the market. It is hard to go back to other RV's after this one. Well, done!

My 2006 Itasca Navion 5 cylinder turbo diesel (Mercedes Benz) has most of these features. I've been averaging 17 MPG and find it so very comfortable.

The _Truma AquaGo_ can be nice for long travels, I must read about that. I like that they finally put solar panels on the roof! The space for shoes storage seems to be small. The rest of that travel van appears to be great and amazing.

I don't understand why these things don't come with the Tesla home battery...Seriously..Why bother with a generator? 3000W solar panels on roof and tesla you'll be powered for years!

yeah, and how much does a Tesla battery weigh? From what I hear, the LTV barely has enough capacity for 2 adults and their stuff, after all the accouterments and accessories.. much less a gigantic battery bank.

Brian Wittling I, too, have heard about the low CCC. Gotta blame Mercedes since they build the chassis. Or blame LTV for not looking for another chassis option.

You're looking quite fit, Dean. And this UNITY FX does look like a nice model. I like the upgrades around the midship living area, the drop down dining table is a nice touch.

I keep watching this because I'm in love with this model. I just wish we could put that fold down sofa from the Serenity for that back lounge. Would be perfect for when my sister travels with me. And someone on a LTV group showed the 2018. Love the new door. Work on that fold down sofa before I buy in 2023 (when I retire). 😀

Beautifully produced and presented. Love it in every way. Don't understand why Mercedes-Benz puts such a tiny screen on their head unit...especially where the rear view camera plays such an important role.

What is missing is a storage area for bikes. Nice to see a van with a large rear storage area. Hopefully Leisure will build it one day. Like to see larger solar panels too which should be a standard feature. Are the batteries the latest up to date lithium batteries? Can you get real leather? Basically this is the same as 2016 with some small design changes.

It's too bad the rear sofa isn't convertible to a bed like on the Serenity. Would open the market to a lot of buyers who love these but want 2 larger sleeping areas.

The North America regulation stipulate the number sleeping beds is determined by the number of seat belts. 2 Seat belts = 2 sleeping. It makes sense as you should be able to carry passengers that are able to be strapped in.

Sure, but adding 2 seatbelts to the back seats should not be any problem for LTV's engineers. Pleasure way, just for instance, does it all the time.

What's more, adding a removable table at that back convertible sofa would be great - just like Pleasure Way does also. The seating arrangement for 4 at the front seems a bit sketchy and not comfortable. You could possibly seat 4 in back more comfortably with a rectangular table, with better outside views than you get in the front too. And then it can also convert a bed. You'd get all that all for the price of an ottoman footstool.

+C. Shetler I have just seen a video with a very comfortable looking real matress, "electric bed system "coming down from the ceiling. With a lounge, seating, dinner and sleeping area with two seats for passengers. From a Spanish company called bunkervan. Love that bed system!

This is my ultimate RV. i would remove the sofa from the back, put a fixed desk and chair and use there for working from home.

looks like the awning needs to come another 6 inches or so towards the passenger side door. the pin that locks the awning arm is in a position where the door would be banging against it if locked into the side of the bus. another great demo Dean.

I saw the door does go a little past 90 degrees. Would have been nice to see it open with the awning out.

The door doesn't swing 180 degrees, only 90. So no problem on the awning supports

You have personal experience about this? It may have been the camera angle. They could record segments in different order but it looks suspect when they don't open the door with the awning out.

Yes, I own one of these (actually our 2nd Unity). Bought our first new one in 2012 and kept it for 3-1/2 years, and then replaced it with a 2016. We have the IB (Island Bed) floorpan. But the entry door is the same on all floorplans.

the only thing that would make Leisure Travel Vans perfect would be too take some of the innovations that Roadtrek has developed and integrate them into your product. ie underhood generator and volt start.

have you considered slide outs for the lounge and bed areas, one at each end of the van? I would love to see more room at each end. I don't know what that would do to structural integrity but the big boys do that. Consider it, Dean. I want a Flex but i'm leaning toward MB.

Are there any seat belts in the chairs (other than the front two seats)? We've read where some states are pretty strict on seat belt laws (not that we don't want the kids to be safe), but we haven't seen any indication of seat belts throughout the Unity.

I've watched a couple of these videos but still haven't seen how the front drivers cabin is sealed off so folks can't watch you sleep?

There is a privacy curtain attached to a track in the cab area. Each half is secured near the seatbelt shoulder harness while traveling. Magnets assist in preventing a gap when the curtain halves meet under the rear view mirror for privacy.... Thank you.... Donna

Excellent upgrades from 2016. However, it looks like the cab curtains have been deleted from this version. Am i just missing something?

I am confused by this reply. I understood the original question to be is this a 4 season RV and not how do I winterize it. Can you camp in freezing weather with this unit? Are tanks and plumbing in the heated space/blankets? Thanks.
