2017 WRX Rays Gram Lights 57CR Install

Thanks to my local Subaru dealership I had the hookup on installing my new Rays 57CR's with the Pilot Super Sport tires. I am beyond happy with deciding to go with these and can't stop looking at them. If you have any questions about sizing or spec's just ask in the comment section below.

Another great vid! Thanks bro, Love everything you done to your car ! Glad you got rid of those Dunlop tires, you gonna love those Pilot Sport, I had them on my GLI and they are awesome. For my STI I put the Pilot Sport S4, which is the newer model, either way you will be able to hit those corners hard ! the car it's going to feel like you are on rails ! lmao.

The car feels a lot different now with the wider offset and tires. It does grip easier now and feels more planted.

Makes the car look much better man I wasn’t a fan of the old wheel with the red pin strip around it, but what ever makes you happy is what’s important.👍🏽

Thanks man. Its was more of the matte finish that was starting to get old to me. I'm really like the gloss black these have on them.

Wow I’m glad I found this channel. I’ve been look for JDM style wheels for awhile now. What tire set up would you recommend for a summer set up? Looking at 265/35r18

I have a friend running that tire setup. The tires have a slight overhang over the wheel but look really good. He had his dropped on springs a little over an inch. The back rubs a little. Stock height or just a little drop is fine.

Stock height for now. I have a kit sitting in my garage to get it lowered but I didnt want to install it until I got back from my snowboarding trip on February.

What size hubcentric rings did you use for the wheels? I just ordered a set and I need to know if the ones I had on my old wheels are a different size so I can order more.

Awesome wheels bro! I’m planning to get this same wheel in bronze. Do you think 255/40 will have rubbing issues on stock suspension? I live in NY and kind of want the extra thickness for those potholes. Thanks!

Youd have no problem with 255 40. That's actually what most people I know run.

@@subieja I think the goldnor bronze would look really good with the white. The wheel still look the same minus some minor wear from removing and reinstalling the lugs. I did ceramic coat them before install so I think that made a big difference too on elements building up on them.

How did you get your taillights so dark? Couldn’t find the vid on your Channel for that mod.

It's the 10 dollar vvivid wrap from amazon. The reason there wasnt a video is that it was a huge pain to do and took me 3 attempts. Still paying 30 dollars total was cheaper than the graphics shop trying to charge me 80. It took me about 2 hours per tail light.

@@anthonyruan6976 no problem. It's worth a shot to try it yourself. Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time. I think its sold in 1x5 ft rolls. I'd suggest buying 2 just in case you want one to practice and one to perfect.

@@WRXSNOWBOARDER What about your suspension ? Is it stock ? and are you using any spacers ? Thinking about grabbing a set of these for my WRX, just worried about rubbing etc :D, fitment looks great though :D.

@@Sphoxros Its stock suspension without any spacers. I know some people have gone 265/40 and it either is perfect or some have gotten rub on big bumps.
