I remember seeing this at my aunt's house when I was a kid. I played with it for an hour or more. Great little toy!

it is called 'penguin race 2' and you can get it on amazon or walmart fairly cheap

You installed the battery incorrectly - the tape should be UNDER the battery. Then, whenever the battery needs changing, it can be easily removed by simply pulling the tape.

unless they made a new video, which i doubt, they installed the battery correctly, over the ribbon, so the ribbon can be pulled and eject the battery.
