@@tenkay7536 he connected the Line Output Converter (LOC) to the speakers. The most common ones I see are LC2i or Kicker KEYLOC. You have to tap into both because you would be missing any bass from songs that only play bass on the left or right

Yesssssssss. I finally have what I wanted. Everyone that wants a d.s.p. also along with their amp too get the real power from the headunit no need too look further. Check out the kicker key 500.1. It has a built in dsp. You just play 2 tones through it too set up and it brings the missing bass needed. I have in my 2022 accord sport along with my single 12 inch comp r 500 watts at 1 ohm and the kicker amp 500@1ohm. Took a couple minutes too run the setup on the amp and it's insane.

I've seen a lot of folks doing this but keep two things in mind, first the factory wiring in these Honda/Acura's are very very thin so there's potential to damage the harness running through the firewall already. Second, you'll be running your power wire over and around the steering and other moving parts under the dash so be very mindful (some kits give you only 20 feet of power wire and routing it like this might leave you short at the trunk). There's a really good spot to drill a hole on the upper left side of the drivers side firewall up about 6-8 inches from the footrest.

Had 17 feet of power in mine and worked perfectly fine so 20 should be more than enough might even wanna cut some off

Did my install last night on my 2022 accord sport. Ha e a 12 inch kicker comp. Powered by a kicker cx400.1. Doesn't rattle my trunk and u cannot really tell I have anything outside of the vehicle but inside it sounds ok. I probably should've tapped into the front speakers instead too make it more powerful?? I'm not sure.

@@jeffd3802 did u tap into the factory sub? There’s a factory DSP curve that can be flattened in the developer menu, but if you’re just doing a sub I’d leave that alone. The rear speakers get a little more mid bass than the front. If your trying to boost the sun frequencies you might want to consider a DSP or something similar but that being said it’s a lot of $$$ for only subs.

@@jameseberhardt3551 actually I'm super happy now. I returned the kicker amp and bought the kicker key amp 500.1. It has a built in dsp. You basically download 2 tones and set the amp accordingly. It brings back the bass loss from the headunit. It bangs now. Also installed it on a kicker compr 12 inch 500 watt at 1 ohm

@@jeffd3802 very cool. I was just looking at some mono block amps with DSP’s built in.
