In this video I share my footage taken on May 5, 2018 as I toured the annual koi growing contest held at Andrew’s Koi International. The koi shop is located in Anaheim, Orange County, California. There were hundreds of koi to select from. Koi purchased on the day of the event are given one year to grow. They are then entered into the following year’s contest. The event is open to beginners, hobbyist and professional koi keepers. All the koi are imported from Japan.
