(Note, due to reasons beyond my control, I was unable to attend and video lifters at the 2020 Arnold / AO1 )
This video shows the normal speed and 1 / 10 th speed side-by-side versions of the 2 best lifts of each of 3 More Master Women lifters, 90+ Kg, (Gina McCauley,; Jaime Cochran, Sarah Faria ) in descending OR & WCNOR Sinclair order, at the 2018 Arnold / AO1 on Sunday, March 4, 2018.
.
This video is the 15th video from this meet, that includes WCNOR (not official results) lifts & Sinclair ratings.
(Note: WCNOR in a video description indicates that the video includes Not Official Results for 1 or more lifters. In this video, Not Official Results involve all three lifters. The first and the third lifters, Gina McCauley and Sarah Faria, had official Totals that are less than that shown in this video, due to the judges determining that violations of "the elbow rule" had occurred during their lifts. The second lifter, Jaime Cochran, had her S2 & J2 lifts judged as violations of the "elbow rule" but those judgments did not affect her official Total because she was successful with her S3 and J3 lifts. Jaime's officially missed S2 & J2 lifts are included in her WCNOR 6 For 6 Encore portion of this video. This video also includes Gina's & Sarah's Not Passed lifts, as if the "elbow rule" was eliminated. You can read some comments encouraging the elimination of “the elbow rule” at: drive.google.com/file/d/1EmPg... . And as an additional thought for consideration, note that there is no “knee rule” regarding the bending of the knees after initially jerking the weight overhead. Is there any real difference, in principle, of the bending of the elbows after initially jerking the weight overhead, as long as the lift is controlled overhead until the down signal is given? Even the legendary Tommy Kono was totally against the "elbow rule" due to its ease of being subjectively and inconsistently misapplied (both too strict and too lenient), and felt that press-outs should be allowed.
Also, most importantly, by including the officially missed lifts in this video, the lifters are able to better see just how close they came and have a better idea of what to do to improve in the future.
