2018 Audi S3 - $400 Oil Change?! We do it instead.

Everything starts off smoothly, but then the truth comes out.
Changing the oil on the Audi S3 is a little different. You do it straight from the engine bay with a pump, no jacks or getting under the car.
Filters don't fit, then public embarrassment, but overall Adam didn't get hurt one bit. You can do it too!
2018 Audi S3.
2.0L Turbo Engine.
What you'll need:
32mm oil filter tool, bought online for VW/Audi.
6 Quarts of Mobil 5W-40 synthetic
MaxPower 13395 Flomaster High Speed Oil Change Pump
Wix WL10024 & Napa 100024 Oil Filter (this is the one that actually fit!)
Gloves
Paper Towels

You end up leaving most of the sediment behind when you don't drain it from the oil pan so you end up introducing that sediment to the new oil and filter. Kind of like changing your oil, but not the filter.

Draining the oil doesn't get it all out either and Audi dealers do the same thing. They us a fluid evacuation system.

@@CryptoGuyoti I have a 2018 s3 and have never had a $400 bill for oil and fluid top up at the dealer and I have been to a couple. You had to have had other things like air filter or micro or you are getting screwed.

The oil filter needs to be seated into the cover NOT into the housing.

If this was meant to be funny. It actually is! You seriously couldn't pay any attention to your oil change and watching the constant evolution of your shirt ripping was hilarious. If you were actually hurt then you need to be more careful... :)
