Hi Bobby, yesterday I test drive the X3 in johor. The ride and handling was very comfort but when I speed up to 120kmh I start to hear the wind noise. In terms of value, safety and futuristic the XC60 still top in this segment.

It's a very nice car to drive. Feels like driving a car rather than an SUV, but you get commanding view of the road. Smooth engine, quick shifting gearbox that can pretty much stay in the right gear most of the time. It's quiet too, with a very comfortable suspension (almost Japanese car soft rather than German stiff) and unintrusive start/stop. But I think maybe BMW Malaysia should sell a higher spec model with all the safety gadgets (auto braking, lane departure, etc), M Sport kit, in addition to this "base" luxury line model. Or just bring in the M40i.

@Bobby Ang, I think there should be a dummy guide for BMW owners. The LED headlamps are worst where it shines too bright (too high) for other drivers. There should be automatically adjusted lower or at least adjusted lower. This is worst ever LED headlamps that does not care about other drivers.

How about safety kits??? Volvo XC60 would be better choice if the buyer excluded “driving dynamic”. To be honest most drivers won’t push hard or even sensitive to notice the driving dynamics. To the majority 70% buyers first criteria 1) the design must be appeal 2) the overall package is convince to buy 3) the gadgets that can be “play” around. As Bobby just mentioned, BMW is careful with their design, unlike Mercedes or Volvo. But that’s the taste of the buyers now, they want refresh look, and with price tag of over RM300K but if” almost” identical then might put off potential buyers. Take example of the latest 5 series, if from far it is a bit hard to distinguish the old F10 with the current model. Japanese automakers practice of new design every 2 generation in order to give a NEW taste for customers. Anyway good review Mr. Bobby 👍🏼
