Morning Brandon, you will probably be aware having a Bev yourself that some of the more off road focused mainstream suvs/4 wheel drive vehicles (not like your beasts you drive here ;) are being trialled with remote control via apps so when you do (like you have mentioned doing rock covering tomorrow) the driver can get out of the vehicle and control the vehicle whilst looking at the ground clearance from a side perspective giving awesome view to prevent the vehicle getting stuck. I think this is a game changer and just one more reason why Beverlys are 4tw ;)

Brandon i like the vids man..need help tho thinking about getting the same rig xrc turbo but out here in middle east cost 40k i worried bout the belt. If I get it i will be driving it on pavement and off road but nothing to hard trials and stuff like that being i live in mountains. U blew the belt 6oom doesn't seem promising don't they say 2000m if should last.

Hey Brant Campbell and Brandon, Ed Windfeld here, when I got my X3 from the Dealer it was leaking Gas into the Crank Case, so Brant I know how you feel right now. It could be the Dealer put low Octane Gas in your machine, low Octane contains Methanol, witch f's up rubber seals and gets by the rings, I thought my injector seals or O rings that seals them were gone. Also if you don't catch it in time your oil can get so contaminated it washes the protective Oil film off the cylinder walls, this can cause scorching and premature wear. What sparks in my mind with your problem Brant, the fact that it back fires. Take out the Air filter, make sure it doesn't have a strong gas smell, also check the Oil level, make sure there is no gas smell. See your getting a build up of gas in the system, the backfiring is it burning out of turn or timing. Make sure you dilute the shit gas the dealer put in, only use 94 Octane, it gives you more horse power anyway. Make sure the Gas you use from now on doesn't have Methanol in it, it should tell you on the Gas Pump So Brandon, sorry for cutting in like this, I really love your Videos,(about the X3s) I always give you a like. You need to go to Vivid racing and check out there new tuning box, I know you don't need more horse in that beast, but it gives you smother power, more horses and better gas mileage. Nice Machine, wish I had waited a couple of months and got the Rock Crawler, I guess I can turn the one I have into a RC ++++. Thank Brandon.

Brandon, thanks for the vids. I enjoy them. I just bought a 2018 x3 max xds last week, and on hard acceleration it will misfire and throw it in limp home mode. I've had it back to the dealer once, and they said it just needed a new spark plug in #1. After I got it back, it doesn't do it as often, but if from a dead stop I floor it, it will do it again. Could it be the belt slipping? The unit has 40 miles and about 2.5 hrs on it this far. Thoughts?

Hey Can't blame you, once bitten twice shy. Just go with the Tuning Box, have a look at there Videos and study the Diagnostic shots, their Dyno is is very critical, it shows the truth, compare it to the stock and the one BRP sells ( not so good). So I have a 2017 X3 xrs, I bought a Gibson Muffler, gives 8 Horse at the wheels $650 + a VRT tuning Box for $600 plug and play, no flash need, you can remove it when you like, very easy. That's 21 Hp at the wheels, plus the 8 Hp with the muffler. BRP wants $1600 for 18 Hp with the 2018 up grade. I'm getting 183 at the wheel Hp, delivered to the road! for under $1500, that I can remove any time. Sorry at the wheel would be 25 to 30 percent less, so about 135 to 140 W Hp. Your Going to the Baja, Lucky @#!!!, that would be a Bucket List Adventure! Thanks Bro.
