I actually put it on about three months earlier and it had over 11,000 views and a lot of comments, but I had to music on the end that was copy righted and I wasn’t supposed to use it, so KZfaq pulled it down. I since have took the music off the end and reposted it.

This is a very sturdy and well built mower. I thought I wouldn't like the foot operated speed control but after one use kzfaq.infoUgkxTZSPVwJFBv2hORqhQamtxi-tAe5K2EtC , I can't believe I ever had one without it. It drives like a car with an automatic transmission. Easy to adjust mowing speed according to grass depth/thickness. I have yet to get used to the long throw of the blade engagement lever but kind of get why it is that way. It allows you to hold mowing for short moments if you need. The engine seems very substantial and the frame has very little flex, both adding up to an impressive package. All my previous tractors were 18 to21 hp with 42in decks. This one is 23/46. I mow about 1.5 acres about every 5 days here in Alaska and that mowing time has been reduced by about 20%, partly due to the very tight turning radius. No loop arounds lol. Hour meter, cruise control, reverse mowing capability, deck cleanout and easy assembly all add up to a very well thought out tractor.

I was disappointed that this video was taken down recently due to copyright claims. The original posting of this video was June 2018. All of a sudden it's back minus the 11,000 plus views and a multitude of posted comments. I purchased the Cub Cadet CC 30H this month and this video contributed to that decision. The copyright issue was probably the music soundtrack at the end of the video which is not included now. I imagine your Snapper review from a few years ago suffered the same fate because it also had the same music soundtrack at the end. I subscribed to your channel this time and will be following your exploits. Thank you.

I bought the CC30H in 2016. Good rider, does the job. Maintenance is key….oil and filter changes, air filter cleaning/ changes and new spark plug every 3 years, sharpen the blade spring and fall. With the trees I have in my yard the auto trans is a must for maneuvering.

Planning on getting this mower. I'm 66, augusta Area heat, walking mower on 90 degree days, about had it. Figure about 1/4 acre in grass to cut. @@windsurfed1 I had a Honda Harmony 1011 riding mower for almost 30 years when the transmission finally gave up. I worked on it for so many years I decided to put it to rest and get something new. I wasn't expecting to be on a list for so long but it was worth the wait. I haven't used it yet because my landscaper had just cut my lawn Monday so I am chomping at the bit waiting to get my first cut in. The first change that I would suggest is to replace the 3-in-1 blade with a high lift blade. The 3-in-1 doesn't do anything well. Finding a high lift blade is a challenge in itself. The six point spindle will also fit a 3 opening blade and a rectangular center hole. I found 29 and 7/8 to 30 and 1/16 blade lengths, all lengths fit the deck. Another option would be to use a smooth center hole and file in the star pattern. I have had mine for several months and find it extremely handy between trees and the street where my larger mower will not fit. Mine has a "Good Vibrations" Hitchin' Post" so that it will tote our yard trailer and tow behind yard tools.

I installed thr drain hose on my CC30H, only problem is that it drains very slow now. The other thing that I used was a half pipe of sheet metal found in the duct work section of my local big box store that works really well to not make a mess while draining the oil. Iv owned mine/ w bagger for 5 years now and overall like it. The chute will get clogged up if cutting longer/wet grass. I kinda have to be selective on when to cut my lawn. I can't cut first thing in morning if its on the longer side cause it will keep getting clogged.

I have the 420CC Craftsman 4yrs now. Almost a twin except it's 6speed. When it comes to changing oil (5hrs first, 25 after) may I recommend never remove that drain plug. Way too messy even with the adapter drain. Go get a fluid extractor and pump it out through the oil fill tube. You'll be reaching the same level as the drain plug. I put mine with the right side wheels on 2x4's to give it a little tilt. Get your oil filters online and if you pay more than 10 it's your fault. It's a great motor, even if it's China. Never bogs down on me and the rest is still as good as the day I brought it home.

is that headlight worth anything? Can you actually mow at night with that? By the way, you misidentified the beer holder as a "cup holder" at 4:55. So if you notice your mowing lines are too straight and there's no scuff marks on the side of your mower, that's probably caused by insufficient use of the beer holder. Hope this helps...

charlie The oil dipstick is just under the lever that engages/disengages the blade. (Right side facing forward)When the blades are disengage the dipstick is just underneath it. If you have a rear bagging system like I have, the Shoot is in the way and must be removed in order to check the oil.

You are just the guy I want to talk to. My drawing for the mowing deck shows detail 26, part number 954-05001, v-type belt, 43.5 inches long. However, that part number is for a belt that is 43.0 inches long. And my belt, the original, measures at 43.0 inches. Consequently, the force required to latch the mower belt lever, over time, causes an upper floating idler bracket failure(and also the shoulder spacer, detail 24.) Which explains the back-order status on this bracket at Cub Cadet. My machine is from 2019. I'm surprised no one has caught this.

I had not change the oil for three seasons nor had I ever change the air filter. And it was still running just fine when I finally sold it because I no longer need a riding lawnmower.
