This entire area along the Minn. and Wisconsin state lines, is an awesome fishery. I'm a Californian but during a business trip, a friend and I managed to sneak in the 1998 Indy 500 race and a canoe trio on the upper Eau Clair river ...it was about as beautiful of a river as I've ever been on and the small mouth kept us plenty busy. A guy could spend a lifetime here and never fish the same water twice.

These guys beat the fuck out of the fish slamming them in the boat and then tossing them around in the livewell until weigh-in. Glad MLF is taking over as they're much more conservation orientated.

Do loud fishing reels bother anyone else? I cant stand that noise when they set the hook and start reeling

It’s not the reel. It’s the braided line going through the guides under tension when there’s a fish on the end of the line. Fluorocarbon does the same, just a different sound.

Clay Pollock a lot of em live in they’re trucks and eat damn near nothing when starting off, once they make it then they can live and get sponsers and such

Powrozik needs to learn how to hold a bass. You damage their jaws by holding them horizontally without supporting their body.

Nope. Only hurts a big bass thats kicking. Why only Powrozik? Because as long as I can remember, every single bass pro has held bass by the jaw. Since 1968.

These guys don't care, Bass tourneys kill a lot of fish. i don't understand why they dont use nets either, boat flipping fish is a douche thing to do, much like power loading.
