Larry I want to thank you for letting me film your Ford Explorer before you took it to Mexico.
In todays video, I get to do a walk-around and a review of my friend Larry's 2018 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor. Im not hiding anything and showing everything! This car is a super cool SUV wit a lot of the police equipment still intact. What I love about this car is how rugged and tactical it feels. Beside missing the light bars and sirens, everything for the most part still works and functions as it should. My daughter Hannah and I had a fun time playing with the loud speaker (or whatever that thing is called to tell people to pullover or stay in the car) Im sure wherever this decommissioned police interceptor goes, it will make an amazing car to use for work, ministry or church. Powered by the 3.7L V6 naturally aspirated engine, it has enough power to get the job done. This was definitely a cool ride and a filming experience. Any police package vehicles would be nice to see on the channel, usually once you own a panther(most peoples first panther is a p71 becuase theyre usually cheaper at auction) you start getting into other police vehicles like the FPIU,FPIS, Imapla,Caprice,Charger,Tahoe,etc. They got trucks and durangos now too, but theyre still expensive.

This thing drove really nice all the way down to Texas! Everyone on the highway slowing down as soon as they saw it thinking it was still a cop vehicle🤣. Thanks for letting it be part of the channel, will be a good memory before remove a lot of that stuff and turn it into a somewhat more civilian looking explorer soon. Would be dangerous to take it as is into Mexico 😅 Well wishes with this channel and everything you do 🙏

Red light is better for preserving night vision, but I'm not sure if that is why they added the red dome light option.

The electronics in the trunk are light controllers and a fuse panel just for what the dept. Added. The weird B pillar seat belt latch keeps the belt out of the way and officers don't have to lean over a person to belt them in

We had a 2015 Ford Explorer, XLT and they had the street appearance package with 20 inch wheels leather/fabric seats with navigation. That was a really cool car. It was the 3.5 V6 not the 3.7 so this one is definitely close to my heart.

Thats got nothing to do with a panther platform other than it was used by police in a different era. and not close to the construction of a crown vic neither the logic, that rolls over, its not a real rear wheel drive, its not body on frame, its not an original naturally aspirated v8, it doesnt even get that much better mpg 🤣🤣🤣🤣

i can not belive why push bar is still on car.I know that one is not first and not last, but using something like this is very risky in Poland,When i was talking with Police offcer in 2020 (i didnt know yet what i will buy P71,or civilan car) and he said "If i find you driving with push bar i will give you a ticket and take away registration certificate".BTW this car is very intresting bicouse i don't know anything about.Will it be a legend like a Crown Vic?I doubt it.Just another SUV.
