This is a very basic rundown for the wiring in a heated grip install. These were brand new takeoff grips from a throttle by wire touring bike. I bought the accessory wiring kit from my local HD dealer. The instructions are terrible. You will need to use some of your own wire to run up the backbone to reach the left side grip plug in. HD has those connectors and pins available. The right side is already run from the factory and simply requires you to plug in at the end of the grip and near the left side power caddy near your USB port. Hopefully this video will help to see what needs to be done to get it wired up. It’s really pretty simple.
