The Hyundai Elite i20 received a much-needed facelift recently at Auto Expo 2018. Thankfully, instead of doing just a nip and tuck job, the company intends to offer more value to the customers with some worthy updates on the new model. With fierce competition coming in from Maruti Baleno, the new 2018 Hyundai Elite i20 stands more confident as it has definitely got better now. But how much is the question? Arpit Mahendra finds out.

Sir grand i10 or Tata tigor...in petrol....pls suggest good car for mostly highway purpose

Both cars are from different segments. Highway stability at high speed and space is better in the Tata Tigor but the Grand i10 is better in other all areas.

Baleno petrol or i20 elite petrol versions in these two which one is good at performance,mileages and safety?

In terms of power, both cars are pretty close but the Baleno will give you more kilometres to a litre of petrol. On safety grounds, the i20 is a winner as it comes with an option for 6 airbags, which is not available with the Baleno.

Not from company but aftermarket options are many. However, I suggest you to stay away from such options as such installations can damage the wiring, leading to system failure or a fire.

A sedate driving in highways will yield you around 21-22 kmpl for Diesel.

These features are available only in top end asta option variant .Base variants are not value for money eg era , magna .

We got about 13.7 kmpl while testing so in normal run you can expect the figures to up slightly.

Hi. If you want better design and interior cabin quality then go for the i20. Baleno offers similar features at a slightly lower price and hence good value for money.

For the usage mentioned, you can look either of the Dzire and Elite i20. Your requirement for space and boot will be the deciding factor between the both as in term so features they are pretty evenly matched.

Yes, like I've said in the video, the steering doesn't reward you with any feedback but it's light operation makes it good for dense traffic. From a driving satisfaction perspective, the Swift definitely is better.

can you please explain what does dead steering means? many have said Feed back of steering but i dont know wht it means? could any one pls explain

In simple terms, it means that the steering wheel should let you know through your palms what's happening with the front tyres at any given point of time, especially during turns. So a dead steering won't let you know in time when you're running out of grip. It's like the feedback you get from a motorcycle handle but a lot lesser in intensity. Hope this helps.

Aditya Sanap nexon is great car no doubt..but its a new car, its engine hasn't tested for 3/4 years. tata cars problem starts after some years..if it runs well dn definitely nexon is champ.

Unlike Cheap ELITE i20, ford freestyle is the value for money car with its segment first features like auto dimming IRVM,auto wipers, floating touch screen, ESP, TRACTION CONTROL, HILL ASSIST, ARP, EBD,footwell ambient lighting, driver side vanity mirror on the sun shade, glove box light. Unlike cheap Elite i20 which doesn't offer any of the features I mentioned above, ford freestyle is the way to go.
