I have an S class 550, and it has most of these options, but the only thing that I don’t have is all them maybach options, that I only have a few of them. But the car itself is beautiful, luxurious, and fast!

Another awesome review! You are detailed, smooth and keep it interesting. So my wife and I have been fortunate to be able to purchase quite a few luxury cars though the yesrs. This 2018 Maybach caught my eye as it was one of them. It was for my wife's birthday and a big surprise. After her doing the heavy lifting raising our 7 kids, she earned it. It was like yesterday back in 1999, we had to have a custom extended van built for our family of nine. A local limousine builder did it under my wife's design direction. That was $125k out the door 25 years ago. She came from an automotive family and has impeccable taste. Good thing for me I've done very well. Back to cars we have a 2020 BMW Alpina B8 (I still drive). The 2018 Mercedes Maybach 650 was beautiful. It was white on white and (sold it for a 80k under purchase price last year). Of course these cars are in no terms an investment other than making my wife very happy! I just put her in a 2024 Genesis G90 E Supercharged. Actually commented on your review of that car too. Now days, I have shifted into investing into collecting exotics, along with a variety of late models. I also have corvettes and at least one in every generation C1 - C8. She does have access to our exotics and claimed the 2017 Aston Martin DB11 5.2L V12 Coupe. It's just light of 4100 lbs with 600 hp and a 200mph top end. Had 7,800 miles on it. Always wanted one but my wife wanted it more. It's a weekend car at best, and amazing car. Remember, a happy wife makes for a happy life!😊

Maybach hurts after watching this video

Thank you for a great review. There are a few things that annoy me on ours. The steering assist is nowhere close to our Tesla. The auto start/stop drives me crazy so I turn it off. And, finally, programming in an address or point of interest is frustrating, especially compared to the Tesla. You're right about the fridge taking up a lot of the trunk, but that's not what this car is all about. It is a car to be driven in but, I've yet to hire someone. Perhaps just once in a while for a night out.

I have an ‘07 S600 with the V12, and I make 500 hp and 600 tq....and the s65 amg at the time had 600 hp and 700 tq, so did they put an AMG engine in this car?
