Not trying to start an argument, but you beat Northwestern by only three points (at home) and beat a mediocre Wisconsin team who lost at home to unranked BYU, and all your other wins came against unranked teams. Not sure this Michigan team is all that yet.

I stand corrected on the Michigan - Northwestern game site. Here in Wisconsin, I believe most alumni and fans have had their fill of quarterbacks who probably would have trouble being the starter at a Division 2 college. We had our one shot at a national title back when we had Russell Wilson for his senior year, and that obviously fell short. Hornibrook fooled us all with his performance last year against Miami in the Orange Bowl, and made many think that he was ready for prime time. Fact is, he isn't. Badgers may arguably be better than mediocre...but not by much. You just don't get beat at home by unranked teams and can be nothing much more than average.

Definitely not by three touchdowns but I'd say ten points at a minimum. ND was fortunate to have every 50/50 ball go their way and I think our defense wouldn't have shit the bed those first two drives due to jitters had the game been played week two or three.

I don't know about 3tds. Notre Dame is good this year. They have solved their qb problem and Dexter Williams is real. Would be a better game, but UM ain't winning by 3tds. Go Blue!

Completely agreed. Still gotta get through Mich St and Penn St, but if Michigan does that, I'm expecting an epic showdown in November. And if Michigan finds a way to win that, then I think a lot of respect will have been earned. Still one week at a time. Can't wait for the Bama vs. LSU game too. Be their first real test of the season, and I think it's bound to be a good one.

I honestly hope the players don't feel entirely that way though. Want confidence, but not assurance. See plenty of people saying shit like "Can't wait to smack down little bro" and "Easy win in East Lansing" but Michigan St is coming off a big 4th quarter win over Penn State, and even when they don't have as much talent, they play Michigan hard. Plus in 2 of the last 3 years, some freak shit has went down that went in the favor of MSU, so I'm still hesitant. But if the players come in ready to play, no pride or underestimating, and play their game of football, Michigan should get the win.

I attended Michigan, went to several games against the Badgers, they were ALL blowouts. Went to one in the 80's where the home crowd in Madison cheered first downs, Michigan won 62-14. Schemblecher lost to Wisconsin once in 20 years, 1981. How many National titles does Wisconsin have? Hilarious!!
