I’ve had this exhaust on my 19’ GT for a year now and I’m being 100% real when I say this is THE best exhaust for the money. I like it for the same reason as you..that deep growl. This exhaust sounds better than Corsa to me, and it’s 1/3 the price. Shhh don’t tell anyone lol.

Bought my 18 pp1 with this exhaust already installed and yea dont tell anyone, i like having the small band of mbrp guys while everyone else goes and buys a corsa. Theyve got mufflers ours is straight through just a j pipe resonator 🤣🤣

This fits the 15-17 GTs as long as there is a rear valance to support quad tips. Switch out my 15-17 MBRP Race for this version. The 15-17 Race is much more deep and boomy but not nearly as loud as this version.

I just put this exhaust setup on my mustang with the included H pipe and it’s LOUD AF. Even the drone on the highway is loud. But it’s a nice deep sound 👌

The H pipe is the reason for the deep sound. See, an X pipe is louder, but I just think H pipes have a much better sound.

i have the 15-17 version, it sounds good loud with a deep tone but I notice the race version for 18 and up is more louder than the 15-17

Put the Street on mine... now wondering if I could have done the Race. Seems like you can creep out of the neighborhood fairly quiet. Cold start didn't seem much worse either.

I am on the market for a 18 and up s550 gt. I am not sure if I should pay to get the performance pack. I keeps getting higher in price every few years it seems. What was your reason for getting your gt without the performance package?

I didn’t get the performance package just because I don’t plan to track my car so I didn’t need the bigger brakes and different gear ratios. I wanted something bare bones I could modify to my liking I was going to end up changing the wheels/suspension/ brakes so didn’t want to pay all the extra money for the PP if everything was going to end up coming off the car lol.

Yea definitely! I don’t got money like that either lol if you are going to buy used you can probably find a performance pack for a decent price. If you are buying new I’d get a base 10 speed 👌🏼 or manual for more fun lol

Is this just the catback? I assume the mbrp comes with a mid muffler delete? Did you delete the cats and the resonators? Or did you leave them on?

It’s just a catback, still has stock headers. I did end up getting Texas speed headers check out the recent videos I have some sound clips with the headers🤙
