Raced one the other night, came here to figure out why the race was closer than expected. I will say it has to be one of the loudest street cars you can buy. RTR seems to have built a very good Mustang here.

I like the previous grill insert shapes better. That extra 45 degree on inner side doesn’t belong IMO.

Looking at the base GT premium and the performance pack 1, the only difference when getting the RTR package is the magnaride suspension..RTR automatically replaces the struts, sway bar and performance springs. So does it make sense to get the Performance pack or the Base GT premium when getting a spec 3?

I really want the gt with the supercharger pack that they are doing now and then get the rtr setup behind it. Might come out cheaper than getting the rtr pack. Have you guys done the numbers?

Nice overall design i would want more downforce with the extra hp. Wonder how this will compare to the new gt500 if it ever is released. My gut feeling on that car is ford wants it to be able to have better performance then any camaro and compete with the new corvette ZR1 performance wise too

Steeda Q500 looks better in my opinion. I also think the LED grill scoops looks cheesy. Honestly the body kit is a import tuners idea on a Mustang.

This is a great package for guys trying to simply buy a ready to roll tuner based factory stang with a warranty. I'd personally take a GT350 over this, but I like RTR stangs. Their good cars.

13% is about average loss from crank to wheels. 700 crank - 13% drivetrain loss = 609. So it's on par with what it should be.

You have to keep in mind that is hitting hellcat numbers in a smaller car. The redeye is making more power than the normal but the normal one could not keep up with this. Ford is doing it things. It has a power trim for everyone. All of them can be pushed for more power too. I can respect that number

Numbers look good to me for a badass street car. Smoke heavy Hellcats all day long! I'm sure a tuner like Lund Racing, Palm Beach Dyno, or VMP Performance can massage some more power out of that Roush supercharger if needed.

Spec 1 starts at $7500 + the Mustang and the Spec 2 starts at $11,700 + the Mustang. Spec 3 price isn't listed as of yet but I would imagine its closer to $18-20k + the Mustang. -Justin

Seems like you could have talked about what they did to the motor for this car, and maybe used a little more mechanical lingo like you are a gear head yourself. Yes we know it has a hopped up adjustable suspension, yes we see it says brembo on the calipers. I cant believe the winner let you drive the car, I wouldn't let you take it out and rip on it, dyno it, touch it......

Because 'they' didn't do anything to the motor outside of the Supercharger- which we covered. And lighten up Paul- the guy got a free car because of American Muscle. I'm sure he didn't mind us breaking it in for him...the proper way. ;) -Justin
