Pleasureway just introduced the Lexor FL in 2018. The FL stands for "front lounge" and this front lounge is one of the best things about this van. In addition to the two front captain's chairs ability to swing around a large, usable pedestal table there's a flip up work space for the driver equipped with 2 AC outlets and 2 USB ports to power your laptop and other accessories. It's a similar design to the much larger Plateau FL but in a van that's nearly 3 feet shorter.
The rest of the FL's layout is much the same as the TS: There's a galley on the passenger's side of the van with an unobstructed view all the way to the rear. Along the driver's side there's a bathroom and in the rear of the van is the familiar lounge with a bench seat and two ottomans that converts into a bed.
The rear lounge is large and open with panoramic windows on three sides letting plenty of sunshine and light in. MCD roller shades on the windows are easily lowered for privacy and there's a large 24 inch flat panel LCD monitor for watching movies or your favorite Blueray.
In order to make room for the front lounge, the closet that would normally be found behind the driver's seat is removed and moved into the rear lounge above the driver's side ottoman. Unfortunately, this makes this ottoman unusable for seating which means the rear lounge (which normally could seat 5 around the table) can only seat 4. It would have been a nice option to be able to get rid of the wardrobe closet entirely to open up this space for some buyers.
Like the TS, the bed on the FL is larger than on the smaller Ascent measuring 73in x 76in. That's 4 inches longer and 3 inches wider than on the Ascent. If you're taller I recommend looking at the Lexor FL because of its larger bed.
While similar to the galley on the TS, the galley on the FL has less counter space and storage. In order to make room for the front lounge about 6 inches needed to be shaved off the length of the counter and cabinets below. There are no counter extensions to extend the work area. I'd prefer if the microwave was placed higher up so I didn't have to stoop to look in it or pull things out but placing it lower does give you space for a larger 5 cubic foot refrigerator (since the microwave isn't above it).
The bathroom on the FL is exactly the same as on the TS. It's a wet bath but feels open with its large window and residential style Corian counter with inlaid sink and wood cabinets below. It's a very nice bathroom and is exactly the same as the bathroom on the larger and more expensive Plateau TS.
Built on the Dodge Promaster chassis, this van is gas and will get you anywhere between 16-18 mpg. It doesn't have the largest towing capacity at 2,150lbs but the convenience of gas may make it up to you. The generator on the FL is gas too which makes a lot more sense if you need to use Pleasureway's new automatic generator start (AGS). AGS lets you program the van to automatically start the generator to power the rooftop air conditioning if the temperature gets too hot inside the coach. It's a similar feature to Roadtrek's Voltstart and is ideal for people with pets that are going to be left alone inside on hot days.
My final recommendation for the Lexor FL is that you need to look at one if you're a couple who wants a quality built class b van at an affordable price. Pleasureway is known for building quality vans. The Lexor FL is no exception. From its hand-crafted wooden cabinets to the multiplex electrical wiring, color touch screen control panels, insulation and attention to detail this van is built to the exact same quality level as the most expensive vans from Pleasureway. Best of all you can get it for tens of thousands of dollars less.
