2018-01-14 Spec Miata Race 2
This was my first event at Sebring - what a fun iconic track! Not difficult to learn, but many subtleties needed to master to go fast. Not to mention, big balls in the bumps in T17 - just gotta believe.
Started P36 of 65 entries, slipped to 38 in Lap 1, spun in Lap 2 in T14 avoiding a car I was preparing to pass in T16 - forgot to pump the brakes and had only rear brakes, fell to 45, passed 10 cars to finish 35th and scored 34th. Looking forward to Sebring next year!
My fastest lap for the weekend was lap 6 of Race 2 at a 2:37.769 - just need to find another 2 seconds to be competitive.
