My favorite part was the "Spy mirror to help dispense justice" :D

I still like it a lot. Drove a brand new rental one once. It does the basic functions expected from a vehicle very well. I am amazed how many car manufacturers get the basics wrong.

Despite its age, the Highlander and its hybrid variant is still one of Toyota's best sellers. The Highlander is also the reason why you don't see many Sequoias either. (He tested it previously.)

Billy Sou I think that the Tahoe and Expedition being superior to the Sequoia in almost every way is why you don’t see very many very Sequoias. Aside from reliability, there is no reason to buy a Sequoia when it lags behind its competitors and is hilariously outdated. Toyota needs to quit being lazy with their trucks and more people will buy.

Sequoia is old and very behind the times.

I have had mine for two years. Mine is the XLE. Nice, but only average 22mpg all around.

I remember back in the olden days when justice dispensation was done via a shoulder check and conversation tunnel. Toyota has just set a new high bar for discipline and style!

.This is a vehicle model very well thought out to give solution to many of the needs of the consumers. I think that the screen of the entertainment center should be replicable in the console that is on the exit of the air conditioning of the second row of seats.

How does it compare to the Chevy Traverse High Country? I am leaning toward the High Country. Thanks.

Hi Steve, a little off topic here, but I wondered when you'll be driving the turbo engine Hyundai Kona? I'm interested in how you think it compares to the turbo Kia Soul?
@stevehammes6 жыл бұрын
Kona will be here but not until 10/30.

This 3rd generation Highlander just came out in 2014. A refresh was made in 2017 so what kind of refresh do you need? Maybe you should wait for the 4th generation Highlander. Hey at least the Highlander is not like the Dodge Journey,! The journey hasn’t changed any since 2009!!

So Steve, if this isn’t the reasonably priced three row SUV you’d recommend to people, what is?
@thecarelectronicguy6876 жыл бұрын
I would guess that it's either the Mazda CX-9 or the Chevy Traverse, but I could be wrong
@stevehammes6 жыл бұрын
I'd probably go Traverse at this point.
@97I30T6 жыл бұрын
The 3rd row seems awfully small. I think that’s why a lot of families with more than two kids end up in full size SUVs instead of this. Kids will outgrow that 3rd row pretty quickly.
@guillecanales116 жыл бұрын
I’m 5’11” and with proper seat adjustments I can fit on both 2nd and 3rd row seats. In other words I can fit six men as tall as me in the Highlander in a pinch. But you’re absolutely right if you need more space get a suburban or a mini van
