On stock tune I got tons of pops, on both upshift and down haha

Only need a tune when straight piping. No need for a tune when putting in a Cat or Axelback.

@@r3dbu11- although you are right no need for tune for those exhaust upgrades I think with a stage 1 or higher tune it automatically pops more because of more power I could be wrong but anyways I just installed this part today definitely dosnt pop like it did in this vid but it does have very similar popping when shifting at redline very worth the buy imo if you want to add a little noise to your car with some backfire pops (;

andrewlikes2890 yeah but people have warranty’s and don’t want to void them for more pops. These axle backs are legit made for non tuned WRX’s.... Everyone, get this without a tune, you’ll be fine, more than fine and you’re NOT MISSING OUT

@@rekzuh I want more crackles and pops, but I’m waiting a year. Make sure my 2020 wrx doesn’t come into any issues before I tune it and put a cold air intake for more turbo induction sounds. Other than that I’d rather just have more turbo noise now. I did a boomba bpv which helped a lot for turbo sound but even the muffler delete added a lot of turbo sound to it. The 2020 doesn’t have a silencer on the air intake luckily so just one less thing less to do. But still. Need more turbo sounds lol

True I think the gauges spit wack numbers. My fuel on a full tank says 500 miles idk if it would make it that far

Wow that's low. I live in wv hills. Get about 31.2 on average on 55mph country roads. Takes like 60 bucks of 93 to fill. But yea 16 is quite an issue I'd check that out.

Jonathan Gerrish Beyond Subaru normal boost for the wrx I believe is 16psi. Anything over is overboost. I wouldnt worry about it as long as you are not making 10psi at wot. Outside temperature does play a roll in peak boost.

Matt Hirata your 100% wrong lol. No one listen to this chump^ if your only hitting 16psi at max your car wrx has a boost leak.... peak boost for a wrx is 21psi

Beyond Subaru I didnt say 16 psi max. Your car shouldn't be staying over 20 psi constantly. Anything over 16 psi is considered overboost on a stock wrx.
