Excelent Tournament Richard, you are awesome! It is amazing what you have achieved and what you have improved since 2005 when we first met in Hungary at the coach's course! Kind regards my friend!!

That scream Foconi made at the end after he won, makes me proud. Meatball parade.

I feel like Kruse only knows how to defend but he doesn't know how to attack, see. Everything was fine for him playing passive and slowly building a lead until Foconi equalized and he had to go on the attack. The fencing style of Foconi kinda countered Kruse way of playing. You see Kruse against Cassara or Lefort and he gets advantages bc of his style, with Foconi it's hard for him.

Before this bout Kruse has beaten Foconi 5 times out of 7......

Second touch was beautiful from Kruse!

a match of tactics. U can see F starts to change first which is successful and push K to change which is unsuccessful. Very interesting. Facconi is a master of counter attack.

I think Kruse just ran out of energy. He was moving too slowly and Foconi just took him to pieces.

Some great points in this match but my God are these ugly fencing styles to look at. Kruse up straight with his non-fencing hand dangling straight down and Feconi in a 90 degree lean to the front.

Allyourmonkeys the sport is evolving so much in different parts of the world I think its both good for growing the sport and bad for tradition but its nice to see variety, and every now and then Garrozo still wows us with that classical on guard and lunge form, overall i think the sport is going somewhere good

So true its so messy.

In the end of the match, how does Kruse think he can score points with his hand held high, predictably marching forward....obviously he can't.
