Nice looking car. The Xb4 ans the 64 look to be very similar. I'm looking forward to getting the 64. Maintenance tip for steering posts.. Get a fairly long screw, get a but to use as a jam nut. Use a nut without nylon. Screw the nut onto the screw, screw the screw at least five threads into the post, then tighten the nut onto the shaft, use the screw head or the nut to hold the shaft to be able to more easily remove the chassis side screw. You then won't have to hold the shaft with pliers.

I got mine for Christmas and put it together last week. I agree with you about the part bags. There was also one washer missing for the satellite gears, I was so disappointed... I haven’t been able to hit my local turf track because it’s been raining here in California. I’ll try and make a video soon 🤘🏼

Shame to hear, the good news is it's a great car. Can't help but wonder if they are rushing them out the door trying to keep up with demand.

Choosing between the 2020 xb4 tlr 22x-4 and the b74 what would you recommend on compact dirt

All three seem pretty good. I've heard the new TLR is really good. Xray cars are the most durable I have driven. AE cars have the largest support system. I would personally go with the Xray between the 3.

Hey, I was curious if you've ever ran a B64 and could comment on how this handles in comparison?

I've never run the 64, if you are running on carpet the Xray is the way to go.

Thinking of grabing a XB2 and 4 to return to racing with, well its either them or the Schumacher L1 and KC

Both Xray cars are really good. The Schumachers go together well, the belt drive is gonna hold you back a little if you run stock. Also the front arms of the KC are a bit fragile. The few I've seen at my track don't hold up well to impact.

rimracker stock racing is none existent here in UK which I'm both thankful and disappointed in haha, shame about arms but there is a model shop on site who sells them

xb2 is the way to go Shumacher has a lot more matinence which means more💰💰💰💸

Just about everyone runs the 2w fronts on the 4w buggy around here, smooths out the car and helps with traction rolling at least on turf and carpet.

Yep. Widens the effective track width. I used to do the same thing with 1/10th nitro tourers when running with 1/8th scale at big events, as the traction used to get stupid high. I got exactly the same outcome. It works very well, especially when you can't get hard enough front tyres.

The most competitive cars at my turf track are the Xray, Yokomo and B64. A couple people have run the Tekno and are fairly competitive. They are built like tanks, I can say that for sure.

A little over 4 hrs, including electronics and a quick set up.

Very nice review, is 4WD stock popular where you race? In my country (the Netherlands) 4WD is all but dead. I have never seen a 4WD race with 13,5 motors. Is there a separate class for mod 4WD? what are the arguments to run 13,5?

My local track is on the smaller side so 13.5 is pretty popular, sometimes there is enough for a mod class, they will combine them if they have to.

4 XRAYs, XB2 '18, Xb2 D '17 Xt2, XB4 '18. All flawless builds. No issues. Build a B64D. You'll have a lot more to complain about lol...

I think it's hit or miss with the Xray QC, a father and son at my track both got XB2's. They both had the exact same issue with the trans that I had. I like both cars a lot, but when I pay $500+ for a kit and it does not go together as it should you better believe I'm gonna complain or at least tell people in my review. Thanks for watching.
