I fully join your opinion. I have seen a few videos when she was well under 10 then playing drums. I am still impressed how good she is. I had chance to meet her in 2016 in Jamboree Jazz Club in Barcelona during the Magia del Veu 2 recording sessions when she was still only 14 years old. She was very nice person and very well communicating in English.

How good can these guys get? They just get better and better. As a one time drummer myself, I am especially impressed with Abril Sauri. her playing was so subtle here, a pure joy. But yes, they are all so good.

100% agree! But trumpet solo was outstanding.

Then sorry to tell you that it is no longer in the SJAB. Fly alone and very successfully for the BCN jazz scene and surroundings. And this is the beginning of a career that will give us lots of joy. Thanks.

I suspect that this flicker is an interaction of the frame rate of the screen with the sample rate (frame rate) of the recorder. If so, it would not have flickered to those seeing it live, so Abril would have left it alone. I'm trying to block it with my finger--without blocking Alba E.!

I don't doubt your science, Alan, and I don't see a flicker reflected on the super soloists when the camera is not on the sign. Oops, I stand corrected. At about the 1:35 mark there is a definite background flicker. But trust my aesthetic sense. The screen, flickering or not, is an annoying distraction, an incompatible visual imposition upon the general ambiance of a cool place for the cool cats to play. After the number ends, a curly-headed guy pops onto the scene. It's apparently Victor and not, as I momentarily hoped, the third young Joan with his trombone, who could have restored order to the scene with an "accidental" exaggerated swing of his slide. I was also thinking there was a phantom sax player on hand until I realized it was Élia's reflection on the piano. Not familiar with the tune, but liking it more and more as I keep listening. Thanks for the excuse. They DO know what they're doing!

She has her own projects after leaving the band in 2018(?) Look her up!
