이 날 아이유의 눈물은 팬들의 이벤트가 감동적이어서였어요. 실제로 나를 울리다니! 라며 발랄하게 토크를 이어갔구요. 아이유에게 많은 어려움이 있었던 건 사실이겠지만 아이유의 표정 하나 감정 하나를 모두 그 어려움으로 치부하며 엮지 않았으면 좋겠습니다.

What made IU so unique is that she is so close to her fans. She really opened her heart to them and treat them like her own. That, I find her very different from other celebrities. She really really appreciate her fans for who she is today. As she once said, ‘ without her fans, there will be no IU.' It all started with one fan who cheered for her while the rest of the audience dun even cared. That gave her to be confident to sing her heart out and won her first trophy and gave her a dream. Many of her sad songs were written becos of her heartach she felt when one boy rejected her in school. I am not sure if she has fully recovered from that devastating experience even after many years. Her song ‘Through the night’, I felt, was meant for the boy to listen. Also her other songs like 'Dear name', 'forgotten season', and 'one sided love’, ‘station’ and especially ‘voicemail’, were her way of expressing her sadness. All the songs she wrote (some by others) and sang are very real, in that, they came out of her personal life experiences such as her insomnia, the death of her friend, her best friend Yoo Inna, etc. I feel that IU deserves to be much much happier for all that she is. Her talent, her good heart, her honesty, her sincerity, her humanity, her gratitude, her love for her staff. It’s just so beautiful. I can’t find any flaw in her character except that she cannot get over that boy and other sad episodes in her life. I wish one day she will be strong enough to let go and be free again. My hope is that she will write more happier songs, inspiring songs to encourage her fans and her self to be strong to let go and be free once again. I shall always pray for her.

Couldn't say it any better, She's someone that is an amzing person that even words can't really describe the feelings i have towards her. She I could give back to her, the world even. She went through hell and possibly death to even get to where she is, shes braved it out. Shes such a hardworker. Such a beautiful human.

저기는 2018 홍콩콘서트였고 이름에게 무대가 시작될 때 관객분들이 종이에 각자의 이름을 쓰셔서 들고 계셨음. 아이유는 처음엔 몰랐다가 한소절 다 부를 때쯤에 알게 되는데 잘 들어보면 0:21 쯤에 헉 하는 숨소리가 마이크에 들어가서 작게 들림. 감동 받은 아이유는 눈물이 맺히고 약간 울먹이는데 본인 피셜 여기서 울면 노래를 다 못마치고 엉엉 울게 될 것 같아서 참았다고 함,, 그리고 나중에 이 이벤트를 기획한 팬분에게 손등키스를 해주는 로맨틱한 팬서비스를 해줌 ㅠㅠ

근데 아이유처럼 잘 안 우는 사람들.. 보통 생각지도 못한 사소한 일에서 눈물이 나도 모르게 터져 나옴...평상시에...왜냐면 내가 그럼...일반화 하는게 아니라ㅜㅠㅠㅠㅠ 저는 울면 지는 느낌 들어서 진짜 안 우는 버릇해서 그런지 감정이 메말라버렸거든요.. 근데 사소한 생각지도 못한 일에 벅찰때가 있음... 근데 완전히 우는것도 아니고 그냥 눈물 앞에 맺히는 정도.....펑펑 울고 싶은데 습관되서 잘 안된다....하아 울고나면 개운한데.....

저도 어릴때 고집이 좀 쎄서 잘 안 울었거든요.. 막 아무리 감동적인 영화봐도 느껴지는 게 없고 하찮은 감정들이 많았어요. 남들은 다 감동받아서 울었다든데.... 자기 자신을 놓기 시작하면서 자연스레 울게 된것 같아요. 특히 새벽감성으로 노래 들으면 저절로 울컥할때 많거든요! 울고 싶을 때 우세요.. 울어도 괜찮아요. 울면서 맘껏 감정을 소비하세요. 울고 웃는게 사는 것 아니겠습니까? 쓸데없는 참견인것 같아서 괜히 죄송하네요. 화이팅

After watching "My Mister", my heart has totally fallen. When I watched her "Hotel De Luna", I dropped my tears at last. But for My Mister, when I know it was also reflecting her childhood, my heart broke into pieces. IU put her heart into dramas, music, she put her heart into her fans and other people. Why is she popular? Because she does not wear a mask to hide herself, she even shows every side of herself. She is kind, she is beautiful, she is sweet. I don't even know how to describe anymore, but she is just an Angel. You rescued our hearts, and we will protect you IU.

@@baymom6829 Her parents got into trouble after being a guarantor of other’s debt. They were deep in debt so had to live separately, she lived with her grandma by the time. Even IU admitted it was sort of reminding her about her childhood when she took the drama, she was so related to it and became depressed. Apart from “she has parents and brother” which is different, and of course being beaten up by the guys which were all fiction, there were similarities to her background. She finally paid off the debt after she got famous from “Good day”. Correct me if wrong.

I remember on an episode of Hyori’s bed and breakfast, she confessed to Hyori that she has a habit of suppressing her feelings. When she feels happy or sad, she controls it so it stays in between the two. I think that’s why she wants to cry on her concert because she wants us to see how touched she is because of her fans but because of her habit, she can’t. She wants us to see her true feelings. 🥺❤️

애써 나오는 눈물을 참는데 그와 동시에 정말 행복해 보이기도 하고 되게 저 순간을 마음속에 오랫동안 기억하고 싶어서 꾹꾹 눌러담는 느낌
