2019-2020 Winter Radar Time-lapse

This time-lapse is made up of over 3,500 images of the first hour of each run of the HRRR model from November 1, 2019 at 12 AM to April 1, 2020 at 12 AM. This took somewhere between 20 and 30 hours in total to make so I really hope you enjoy this.

Definitely was a mild winter last year in SE KY. Radar shows a lot more thunder storms compared to any wintry weather. Thanks for creating this, great job!

That winter in New York City was the quiet winter only 4 inches of snow for the entire season

2019-2020 was a very warm unsnowy winter here in NJ/NYC area. We had repeat this past winter in 2022-2023.

I do remember winter 2019/2020 being a rainy season in southeastern Ohio... but i didn't remember it being *THAT* rainy...

You should do one for September 2022, the biggest Snow Blizzards storms in December 2022- January 2023, May 2023

How did you access this? I have been scouring the internet all evening trying to find past radar data on a microburst that hit me back in 2019.

I’m glad you enjoyed it, but I don’t know if you read the description or not, but this took me over 20 hours in total to make and I simply do not have the free time to do that again. I will say though, I am making another one for this winter and I started saving daily radar loops back in mid-October and will likely release a 2020-2021 winter radar time lapse sometime in April or May of 2021.

@@coreweather9491 I read the description. On the 16th Day In December. I was surrounded by Tornadoes and storms. Its was Scary though!😱 And it spring to winter.
