Put some masking tape around the push pin areas so you don't scratch the paint.

Ok so I put these taillights in my truck and they worked great right out of the box. I had them on for about 4 months. Now I have the driver's turn signal activating the reverse and the top brake light any time you use the left turn signal. I put my factory taillights back in and it doesn't activate the reverse or the brake lights when I use the turn signal.

Perhaps I'm getting my legal info wrong but arnt these taillights illegal? I was told that smoked headlights and tail lights are illegal in all 50 states.

If they have a dot stamped on them then they are legal
