Installing the turn signals and LED lights are easier than expected. There weren't many videos on KZfaq on how to do it, so I figured to make my own! Hope this helps! LED links below:

I have the same year and model but I want to know how to change the headlights and fog lights. I'm actually having troubles finding the right video and having trouble doing it myself. So hopefully you can make a detailed video in the future.

Thanks man. I just bought. 2022 forte gt manual transmission in the pearl color two days ago. Wanting to go led on license plate and turn signals. Edit : just upgraded the license plate lights, reverse lights and rear turn signal lights to LED. Looks fantastic and matches the rest of the LED’s.

@@PetrolJuice absolutely I couldn’t stand the halogen turn signals and license plate lights with everything else being LED. Especially with how the rear turn lights are placed so low on the vehicle. With the LEDs they are so much brighter now even during the day which I think makes the car a little safer AND looks more premium as you said. It was so simple to change all 3 lights that I did it in the parking lot while my son was at piano lesson lmao. $44.31 for all on Amazon 💪

Yoooo! Just bought this exact car a month ago. I saw this video and today I put these lights in, recommended by you...what a difference!! Omg way better! Just ordered the glass black side plate things, another great recommendation 👌🏼 So I got one for you,- something I have that's a cheap upgrade that I think you'll appreciate too...a center arm rest cover that's "leather" with red stitching 👍🏼 Search- 2023 Kia Forte GT arm rest cover and it's like the 5th one down. The one without the logo, one with the logo says GT Line and we don't have the "line"- so I got this one. I happy with it for the price. It doesn't fit perfectly but it feels and looks better than the hard plastic center arm rest. Check it out. Also, I'm now following you and we'll have matching cars now. How cute 😂

@PetrolJuice Lexley? No! That one says "GT Line" we don't have the line. Looks great but not the one I bought. It took weeks to arrive and isn't perfect but for 22.88 looks good. I had a 2013 Forte Sx (black) before this. This is a huge step up and I'm 42 & loving it. It's not a race car but it's a decent af $25k (what I paid) car. Especially coming from the 2013 Koup SX

Hey man, did you have trouble removing the halogen bulb out of its socket? Tried this myself but couldn’t remove the halogen globe out of its socket 😢

@@jrmkaizen dang, i didnt. I did have a bit of trouble getting it back in, but that was it. Maybe try pushing in as your twisting it left?

Thanks for this. I tried Lasfit turnsignals but the bulb was too big. Not compatible with the facelifted Fortes unfortunately. Will try these!

Hey man, this might be a stupid question but I did the turn signals today and they were a pain in the butt to install on my forte5.. I'm actually a little worried that they didn't twist lock in place properly and I'm hoping I don't have to go back and fix them before they fall out in the housing. I bought the same bulbs as you and I'm wondering how they're oriented in your housing, are the side LEDs straight up and down like a + or more on an angle once installed?

@@DarkSouljur don’t worry not a stupid question at all! They were a little weird to put in as well for me. I don’t remember how they were oriented, but as long as they twisted when you put them into the socket and as long as the housing is sealed when you put it back into place, you should be fine. I haven’t had any issues since installation for me as well

@@PetrolJuice If i use a clock as an example, these new bulbs have the connecting dots at 9 & 3, where the old halogen ones i pulled out were more like 10 & 2. I put these in and tried twisting but they wouldn't budge. When they fit in there it seemed pretty tight so i thought maybe it was supposed to be like that since these connections were slightly different? That's why i'm wondering how they're sitting in your housing - because mine are straight, but if yours are on an angle then i probably messed up and they didn't lock in like they maybe should have.

@@DarkSouljur sorry about the delay just checked now. It looks like they’re straight in not at an angle. Maybe double check the way you put it in to make sure the seal is closed correctly

Any video on how to replace the light strip on the trunk? (the one that doesnt light up?) Any follow up video on the interior ambient lighting installation?

Sorry about the delay! I’ve done a bit of research on replacing that strip and there’s barely any instructions. But it seems like you’d have to tap into the break light with a self tap. I’ll make the follow up video on the interior ambient lighting wiring by this weekend!

@@PetrolJuice I actually came across a video of someone in korea doing it. Its like 50 seconds long though and goes extremely fast. Let me know how i can send it to you if you'd like. It goes way too fast for me to even recognize what he's doing.

I have a 2023 Forte GT-Line. If I replace the turn signal bulbs, do they need resistors since the front and rear signals are halogen? Looking to replace them and the headlight bulbs with a LASFIT set.

Hey there! They should not need resistors from what I'm aware of. Should be plug and play. BTW, Ive used lasfit in the past and their bulbs are great as well.

@@PetrolJuice Thank ya for the reply! I’ve been researching a lot the last few weeks and wasn’t sure what my best option would be. But I’ve heard a lot of Forte owners with the LX up to the GT-Line say that they went with LASFIT and they liked them. Easy install and direct connect without needing ballasts or anything.

Asi es como debió venir desde fábrica. Tengo un 2021 he igual se las cambie a LED. No entiende porque Kia deciden por halogenos incandescentes si se funden más rápido que los LEDS. Un buen LED te dura años y gasta menos energia.

Did these throw an error code or hyper flash? I’m going through a bunch off Amazon that are just never working properly without an error or they hyper flash. If these worked without that I want to try them. Thanks for your help
