Basically today was a dream. Me and my mom went to the Acura Dealer near where we live but sadly they didn't have them in the showroom. A guy opened the front door for us and welcomed us and asked "what are you looking for?" My mom said- "The 2019 Acura RDX" so the salesperson said follow me. He took us to a RDX that he had the key for and told us all the features and everything. Next is the test drive. Holy cow. The salesperson put it into Sport+ mode and we went so fast! There was a a road with a red light and we were so thrilled that my mom almost hit the truck in front of us but the car helped the brakes also! I had a great experience! My mom looks forward to buying it! Also sorry for such a long comment.

I’m considering Honda CR-V, VW Tiguan, and Acura RDX. Which one wins for you for a busy mom driving kids around and for work? (Currently owns 2012 Crv）One thing has stopped me to take action is the choice of gasoline type. want to ask people who purchased a Rdx, do you use regular or premium gas? What’s going to make a difference if I use regular gas? thanks!

Bennett Vu I agree. The front end looks aggressive, while the rear looks a lot less aggressive. It has grown on me, though.

The review is very good. I would have liked to see a little more on the navigation system such as 3 D maps and a little on Apple car play. I cannot understand why the remote start is an accessory on this year's model. It seems like a lot of money to pay $400 to get it when it's already built in the car electronically and all you need to do is get a different key FOB. Maybe the dealers will throw that in to make the sale.Hope so.

The A-Spec also has the heated steering wheel Oh and Canada models come with the remote start on the fob but only a 3-month trial of the full features of the app

Jerry He yes by pushing button on tip of washer stick. You can see its separated by black circle and had a symbol, that not cleared in this video. By pushing you travel between different views.

The a-spec and advance come with a 16 speaker system while the technology comes with a 12 and the base has 9

A great value in lower trim, but not nearly what it can be at that price. SH-AWD is a must-have for drivers, and you want better wheels. Might as well go A-Spec. Which means $49,000 with taxes and fees.

The MDX will have the one thing the RDX doesn’t and that is a V6 Turbo and maybe a DSG. The RDX is a sweet ride. I’m not sure of the center stack. The dial does very little for such a significant location and amount of space.

David Bern once you own one, it’s actually quite convenient for how much the average person would use it. I switch from sport to sport+ fairly often (either to get away from bad drivers or enjoy the speed off the line at a ted light, etc) So looking at it without having actually used it much, it may seem like it’s useless. But Acura actually nailed the placement

Derek hands down RDX (I went with the A-Spec) I was debating between the RDX, Q5, X3, and Evoque Q3 and Evoque have a louder bass but that’s also partially due to their size All in all, the RDX is the largest, most power, and most comfortable imo. Oh and the others don’t stand a chance on the price vs features comparison

Not really sure what you're getting at Paul. Honda and Acura have been near the top in term of durability and reliability for decades. Most of their cars sold in North America are actually made in the US.

Please note that this is only in the US. Canadian models have remote start built into the fob Though our AcuraLink is only a 3-month trial

I've driven Acura for 20 years+ but did not like this years models. The technology is akin to something designed by Microsoft. It is complicated and unintuitive - and frankly did not work half the time. Even the sales people did not know how to use it or it did not work for them. The camera is terrible. The display needs to be touch screen and they need to get rid of the touch-pad.
