Just picked up mine last week, hands down the best bike i've owned and ridden! The power feels like it comes from an alternate universe, any gear any rpm just roll on and it goes faster. The handling is continuously confidence inspiring, every corner i think i could have went faster... Off road it's a boy and you feel it but with enough forward momentum it feels like a child's gyroscopic toy it wants to stay up right and it's easy to keep it there. Not to mention this bike eats miles for breakfast lunch and dinner, i've looked down at the nav and realized i don't know where i am or how i got there just enjoying ride. im glad bmw thought about that cause there are all kinds of backtracking tools. Love this bike.

Great follow up vid BMW GS I would have go for GSA because protection frame as it would be expensive if you hit heads cover of motor. Also having big fuel tank is great for long distance in Australia.

Guys, I'm sorry, but that is NOT the GS Adventure, but the regular GS. The Adventure comes with a 30l-fuel tank, engine-guards which cover half the bike and slightly different fairings. You should look that up on the BMW-website!

For me to expensive so tomorrow I pick my brand new Suzuki Vstrom 1000 XT and an Remus exhaust on. My father in law bought a new old GS 1200 3 months ago, fit and finish is great.

Just got mine. In HP colours. It's a terrific bike. With the Akrapovic exhaust the sound is even better. The new engin is miles better than the 1200.

Whats the difference between the executive version and the hp version?
@marcducati
@marcducati 5 жыл бұрын
@@rezalaluyan4410 Mainly the colour. The executive is black and the HP has the racing colours with the gold spoke wheels. It has one pièces seat and small wind shield. It looks miles better in my opinion. If you go for the two seat option you get the bigger screen with it.

Some of these technological advancements are great, but some take away from the true motorcycle experience. All these modes and safety overrides become frustrating when you have to come to a complete stop to turn off tc or dbc because you wanted to do wheelie, burnout or anything fun on the spur of the moment. Assuming you can turn them off. It just takes you out of the moment. All because some riders would rather their motorcycle help drive itself in a "tame" & "well mannered" fashion. We buy these machines to illicit a feeling of control yet we want to add features that give us less of it. Its rather puzzling don't you think.

I put enduro tires on my RT its also "relatively" manageable. This bike like all road bikes are designed on the pavement. When a bike is over 650+# lbs loaded and drops try getting it up on an up hill slope with no other choice but stand it up up the hill sideways by yourself. Not fun, not an adventure but a hernia in the middle of no where. Last resort press the SOS button hopefully they are in range. There is a reason for the GS 310.

Adventure means "dirt road". Thats it! Its too heavy for actual adventure riding. Its like a fantasy, yuppie, status bike. If you really go on an adventure destination, it has to be with a group because you cannot get the machine through mud and small difficulties without helping each other. Watch the workshop videos of actual people who buy the bikes, sign up for a group train and ride, and then watch all the "experienced" people fall over and over and over. Trashing a high dollar bike in one week. Its a wicked bike for sure but not really great for the application or price. Roman says the weight is low but, its not low. Beautiful machine but there are better bikes for adventure riding. Even if you have to have a BMW, there are better adventure bikes than the 1200.

@@roadglide I agree..the Beemers are the cat's ass, but not only are the expensive as hell and kind of gimmicky,their dealer support is almost non existent in many areas..our local dealer is a good dude,but I do not fully trust his choice of mechanics,his prices are outrageous and the wait times to even get something looked at can be ridiculous at times. I do know the Africe Twin cannot touch the ass of ANY GS,but,I have a few buddies riding Super Teneres right now that seem VERY pleased with them..we will just have to see how it all plays out.

@@roadglide again,I agree..I was not cutting Honda down,I spent nearly half of my 49 yrs of riding on the back of a Honda product with zero regrets..I like the fact that there is a Honda dealership within rock throwing distance of nearly anywhere you go👍 I have had wonderful luck with the Japanese bikes,decent luck with the Germans and not such good luck with the brit bikes(looks sold me..my mistake).👍😁👍

@@zunaidkajee4540 reading comp is a problem for you I guess..I never said they were "bad bikes"..I said they were gimmicky and dealer support is spotty..I stand by that statement..I have ridden many miles on them as have friends,so I am not unfamiliar with them and their quirks. I do question your numbers though..I HIGHLY doubt the GS has 0.5% of the global motorcycle market share,much less the over 50% you are spewing..show us a link (credible link,not a BMW advert🤣😁😂)
