Pretty noisy during acceleration for a familycar.. The X1 18sDrive you tested the other day was more silent. ;)

330d is a 6 cilinder, why would you not want to hear the engine growl?

That’s one of the reason to buy the L6. I have 330d F31, the sound it’s something interesting better than many gasoline engines

@@daffiecars It is a luxury familycar for long distance travel. Noise is not what I want on my journeys.

@@andersnielsen6044 All cars make some noise when accelerating, I'm pretty sure it's not bad while cruising. Also, microphones tend to pick a lot more noise than you'll actually hear in real life.
