A huge shout out to the Central Coast Disc Golf crew, who travelled at the complete opposite side of North America to film a tournament under the harshest conditions there could be.

This kind of brings back memories for me. In 2017 we had to ride out Hurricane Irma in Florida. It ended up not being as bad as was forecast, but two days after I finally got out and made it down to Youth Park, my local course. It was soggy and it was trashed and there were a lot of trees and limbs down, but the baskets were there and I'd been stuck in my house with boards on the windows for two and half days. I played, and it was the most relaxing round I've ever played. Great job, CCDG!

Greatest CCDG editing ever at 24:03. Thomas finishes his putt and you can see McBeth approaching his in the background - it then cuts to Paul. Nice work.

Foot fault by Keegan on hole 7? (23:49 minutes in). Dude is not behind his mini.
@jamesturner74885 жыл бұрын
The new rule is you have a square area 20 cm x 30 cm behind your lye and as long as your foot is touching any part of that square area it is legal. Also no one called it so it basically never happened.
@jaspercarrasqueiras93535 жыл бұрын
James Turner thank you for sharing that fact, I was not aware but I’ll use that knowledge to my advantage! Also I know if no one called it but it’s a hard to play your own game and be an official, video coverage sees things players cannot.

This may be an unpopular opinion, and I am this biggest Sexton fan, so I'd be interested to see if he has a response to this, but I don't think increasing the par/making drop zones easier is good for the appearance of disc golf. When guys are expecting birdie on a hole, it seems to me like then the par should be a shot less. When birdie is expected, and guys are shooting 10+ down, it makes courses look amateurish, when in reality they are super challenging.
@agetori77434 жыл бұрын
because golf never has tournaments where after 4 rounds they are in the mid to high -20s they are pros for a reason...

This does *not* look like a fun round to play. I'm not opposed to windy days, but jeeeeeez. Even in the heart of the forest, it's a bit too blustery.
@Johnhwbaker4 жыл бұрын
Why even have a drop zone on 7? If you run the putt and go OB, you get punished enough taking the stroke penalty. Making you death putt from 45ft is just cruel lol. I guess the logic is, to keep people from just blasting the green on their 2nd shot and taking an easy 4? I dunno. Still a beautiful course.
