Not a russian hacker no one is expecting that quality instead he is commenting on the fact that there is absolutely no camera quality in certain parts of this video and that is perfectly fair to point out. Anyone sitting on the cart with an iPhone could have recorded many of these shots better so it doesn’t matter what you say about whether the sport makes money or not.

Lol I live 20 minutes away from the Canadian border in norther new your and for our sectional meet is was 36 degrees and puddles everywhere with 3 inches of snow overtop puddles so you couldn’t see the puddles it was horrible

Pass19 when you see the three guys in the grey or maybe two in the screen pause it because there’s deceptively him hidden in your peripheral vision. It’s like 1 second after the time stamp.

MAN, XC is grueling! 😥 However, there's something I love about the challenge! You can't control for weather or the effect is has on the terrain! You gotta be TOUGH to compete in this!😬💪🏿🏞🏃🏿‍♂️Even though the video quality isn't the best, I appreciate whoever recorded this and uploaded it. Thank you for sharing this with us!

Virtually any cheap consumer camcorder could record this race significantly better than what FloTrack provided. The only excuse is that it was being live broadcast, but this looks worse than most footage from 1980s high school national championships.

Running on a cold and rainy day is so demanding. Trying to stay warm and navigate the adverse conditions that are created by the rain on the course becomes that much more difficult.

This goes for all of these races through the years: none of the equipment they're using is actually recording this in such a low resolution. The issue is that the videos being shared are just a direct feed from the stream. These aren't the native videos. It wouldn't be that hard to edit the videos with the original recordings, but even that small amount of work is not worth it for them, I guess, given the low viewer count of a XC race. Sad, really.

I know high schools run a 5K cross country course, although when I did X-country in the '70's the course was generally around 2.5 miles, but I had thought colleges ran a 5K x-country course as well, but I guess the men do a 10K distance. I think the females in college do a 6K distance. I wonder if X-country courses have to be completely off paved roads. That would seem like a good rule...

Cross Country the Silent Sport ? Why do these announcers have to fill every available second with chatter and banter... calling Team positions ad nauseum and trying to demonstrate their "insider command" of the sport? Fairly annoying to some of the viewers... I suspect I am not the only one. Just let the athletes run once in awhile!! Geez!
